Mardi Himal, located in Machhapuchhre Goupalika 9 of Kaski, is a comfortable mountain world for all. As it is a well-organized trekking route, both internal and external tourists enjoy it.
The real fun here is to easily kiss the white snow of the mountains.
Mardi Himal Base Camp is located at an altitude of 4500 meters
The Mardi Himal Base Camp Route is one of the world famous footpaths within the Annapurna Circuit. The views of the snow-capped Mardi Gras are breathtaking.
From this trekking route, Annapurna Range, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, Manaslu and other mountains can be seen.
Also, green forests and local settlements can be observed. This is a trekking route that takes about a week to complete.
This trekking route starts from Kande of Kaski. Pitam Deurali is reached from Kande via Australian Camp, Pothana and then from Forest Camp, Forest Camp to Low Camp. On the same day, you can reach High Camp from Batase Danda to Mardi Himal Base Camp
You can reach Pokhara by jeep from Siding after returning to Lo Camp. The last hotel of this trekking route is also in the high camp.
But I have completed the trek in two days. I started on february 2 and completed it on february 3. I enjoy trekking and my route was like this. I walked from Pokhara to Siding by jeep and 7 hours on foot from Siding. I spent one night in a guest house of High Camp. I have completed trekking.

Just came back last week from trekking at Mardi Himal starting from Australian Camp, ending at Sidding.
Firstly, regarding trekking terrain and difficulty, the trek is easy and straightforward until around Badal Danda. From there onwards, it becomes a bit tricky but the view is also more beautiful. From High Camp to Mardi Himal view point, it's not easy and not very suitable for total beginner. Good fitness level needed.
Secondly, teahouses are not as good as in other more established routes like Annapurna Circuit. At Forest Camp and High Camp, don't expect to find decent bathroom. Wifi also becomes weaker and unstable.
Thirdly, descending from Sidding is not very enjoyable. The trek is very dirty, lots of horses' and buffalo's dung everywhere. The terrain itself is also not that nice to walk on as it has many loose rocks.
It will be good to have a guide with you when trekking in Mardi Himal. Our guide knew a "new route" before Forest Camp that save us at least an hour of up and down. This seem to be a newly opened route because some other trekkers that leave before us didn't know about it.
Overall I think Mardi Himal is a gem waiting to be discovered by more trekkers. More work is needed though to make trekking more enjoyable.

The trek takes several days and is doable with normal constituiton. I was doing most of the trek without wearing my shoes at all, so it is not to hard to go up there. The path up is sometimes very good prepared (e.g. stairs) and within a normal distance you fill find places to rest and get some food.
The way up leads up through the jungle, the only animals you have to be cautious about are caterpillars (there are always many of them and they are poisonous) and leeches (when taking a break make sure to stay on stones and if it is raining have something to cover your neck and head, they fall down from trees). Despite of this animals you can fully enjoy the flora and fauna while walking up.
Depending on the season it could be rainy so get something to protect you and latest at high camp it could be much colder. In high season would also be good to have sleeping bags, since the guesthouses may be packed full of people.
I was there in June and there were very view travelers up there and it was almost every day in the afternoon raining.
Latest at forest camp you may have to pay for WiFi, charge your phone and filtered water. Also the higher you get the prices ...
Please try to prevent plastic bottles, you can get filtered water or even buy in advance filters or iodine tablets.
They still burn the trash up there so it would be the best if you take it with you and not leave it up there.
Most people start early in the morning from High Camp to get the view up to the High mountains at sunrise the hike up is about 2 hours. Make sure when leaving in the morining to respect other peoples sleep and don't be too loud.

Very few people know about mardi himal in general. I found many people unknown about it. Its one of the easiest and fastest where you reach upto 4600m from sea-level. Reaching on the lap of Mount Mardi is great.

Mardi Himal Trek is popular for its scenery of high mountains and the Annapurna Base Camp for the travelers. it is less travelled area comparing to other treks around Annapurna. The small tea houses are available at within short distance with own budget and facilities.

Fantastic trail. Not as well developed or crowded as Annapurna base camp. But tea houses are available at comfortable distances. Will strongly recommend.

Mardi Himal trek is best destination to avoid the crowd and to get engage with nature and local culture. Mardi Himal trek offers majestic view of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchre and Manaslu ranges . Hiking along the old forest of rhododendron and oak with trail less ventured and enjoy the views with interaction with the local community homestay at Lwang village is an amazing trek for people with less trekking experience . The gigantic mountains in the north and silhouette lines of hills towards the south makes this trip one of the most spectacular trek in Nepal. Mardi Himal base camp, Badal Danda and Lwang community homestay are the major attraction of this trek.
