If it wasn’t for the additional amenities(beach and restaurant) I would give 1 star. The $5,800 per week condo we stayed in was filthy. Furniture stained and extremely dirty, walls had grime all over them, drawers in kitchen extremely filthy including eating utensils. Refrigerator had black mold inside and out. I’ve stayed at in motels that were much cleaner than this. Contacted management and they would not switch condos with us and offered us a measly credit which I still have not received yet. Save your money and stay elsewhere.

The beach was beautiful, property very nice and well maintained. The adjoining bar/restaurant(s) were good enough that we pretty much only ate and drank there during our 3-night stay. We were in a "hotel style" beachfront room which was four times the size of a typical hotel room. Housekeeping visited every day. Had a full kitchen. Zero complaints.

Snorkeling, food, beautiful beach. Wonderful place. The highlight was a school of reef squid. Worth a drive from wherever you are staying.

The secret harbour Beach resort was an awesome stay such a quiet relaxing family resort. The restaurant had awesome food the beach was very clear good for swimming and snorkeling. We stayed at the beachfront property the hillside property looks nicer on the computer but it's a pretty far walk with a lot of steps to the beach they cleaned our room every day we had no complaints at all about this place and we will be staying here again 😁

We backed our boat in and had a very nice dinner. It is absolutely beautiful! We traveled back to Oasis Cove Marina after dark and it was an easy ride. We will be back!

First time in Virgin Islands, chose St. Thomas cause we don't have our passports, Stayed at Secret Harbor because a friend at work used to live in St.John and previously had loved the property so We stayed 6 nights in Secret Harbor Beach resort i think room 311, beautiful huge room with amazing views of beach with huge palm trees. Our room was super clean, view includes cool sail boats in the water/bay, so beautiful to look at every day, if we were in the room we were outside almost all the time with this amazing view, overall check in was quick and check out quick, the facilities main guy was amazing dropping us off with our luggage, helping get cabs when needed, and checked out carried our luggage on golf cart, very nice people at the hotel. The pool bar and restaurant were both great, we enjoyed renting snorkeling equipment to keep at our room during the trip to use at the property and while visiting neighboring islands to utilize. we visited the grocery store close by to try to save a little money with breakfast items and drinks, Since th room had full kitchen/fridge, then would venture out for dinner at night times, RedHook marina was super close for dinner. and the hotel actually serviced our room daily with fresh towels and and kitchen cleaning. not sure I would change anything we did, we enjoyed renting a jeep to go to dinner and to go shopping and going to St. Johns Island for a day and visiting Beaches/Bays there. my favorite spot St.Thomas was Magen's Bay/Beach, didnt have time to see everything of course but loved this resort.

Secret harbor was beyond our expectations; grounds were beautiful, our room was beautiful with a view stunning, food was excellent.

We stayed here for the first part of our trip before having to change sites to the Margaritaville to attend a conference. Secret Harbor exceeded all my expectations and I was so sad to leave! The rooms were immaculately cleaned. I have never been to a beach resort that didn’t have at least some sand and bugs in the units, but I never saw a single bug during the entire stay. You must get a beach view room! Drinking coffee while looking over the water was the best way to wake up. The beach is steps away and the prettiest one we visited on the trip. And even in the middle of the day, the beach was not crowded, in contrast to some of the other beaches we saw (like Coki). We were able to snorkel and paddle board right in front of condo. If we are able to come back to St Thomas I would absolutely stay here again. In contrast, our stay at Margaritaville was not nearly as scenic and with fewer amenities in the rooms. This has got to be the nicest place to stay on the island!

We were overwhelmed with hotel options but really glad we ended up here. It's small, but that's just what we needed with two young kids (4 and 6) who we needed to keep an eye on. Biggest thing to note is that - while the town of Red Hook is close as the crow flies - you can't walk there and taxis are NOT cheap. It's worth planning ahead and getting groceries and whatever else you might need and limit trips to town.
We had an Oceanview 2 bedroom condo. Kids could pop in and out onto the beach, restaurant was a minute away, and pool was a 2 min walk up the hill. There's not much to do beyond snorkeling and lounging at the hotel itself, but it's great if the goal of your trip is low key relaxation.

Stayed a week at Secret Harbor , absolutely the most beautiful resort on Saint Thomas .. we stayed in a one bedroom condo ocean front , beautiful decorated , well taken care of , room service every day , towels , toiletries provided , coffee stocked every day . Free Beach towel hut for guest and nice lounge chairs and umbrellas on beach for guests , nice pool , Phillip the resort accommodator was always keeping all the guest happy , such an asset to Secret Harbor .. no seaweed !! Close to red hook for ferry to Saint John . Our go to when we stay at Saint Thomas !!

It this a public beach, or is it only open to guests of Secret Harbor Beach resort? We are looking at staying at another hotel in Nazareth that is not beachfront, and are wondering if we would be able to go to the beach here or not.

Hi, Is it possible to get a boat from Secret Harbour to snorkel on Buck Island? If so how much? We are a family of 4 with 11 year old boys. Is it too far to Kayak?

It’s not really safe (because of cars) to walk on the winding roads near the hotel, but anything at Red Hook would otherwise be an easy walk for you. Secret Harbor is isolated, secluded, all of that. Rent a car if you like, but the hotel can get you a taxi in just a few minutes, and the drivers are all full of island stories if you are interested in talking with them, plus they are used to driving on the left!

We are coming in by cruiseship and will have a whole day. We are thinking of doing a visit to several of the beaches and I am wondering if someone can recommend a starting order so we can do somewhat of a loop out and back. So if any of the beaches are relatively close by and easy to get from one to another before heading back to the ship that would be great. Also is it best to travel by taxi or use local bus?

I'm not sure order matters necessarily due to relatively close proximity and easily accessible cabs/buses. I would recommend hitting Magen's bay earlier before the crowd as it is a little further away but great to see/snorkel. I would also recommend Sapphire if you'd like to have some lunch or a drink and have a busier atmosphere. I love Secret harbor and it would be a great place to wrap up. Thankfully it's peaceful, has a shower, and there's a restaurant called sunset grille right in the entrance so you could grab a drink or bite as you head back to the ship. I made these recs on the assumption that if you're coming off a boat you may not have a lot of "supplies" and might want some shade and or refreshments throughout the day. If this is irrelevant for you, the natural beaches are all wonderful and offer some amentities as well. Have fun!
