We have been going there for many years and continue to have lots of fun. Every year we learn more about the island. The locals a very friendly and helpful.

Worth the trek. Take a cooler. Ideally a GPS beacon little to no cell service. Probably safer to go with a tour.

starts ot by looking at some alligators basking in the sun, across from them is one myan ruin , keep going to see the lght house, you can climb to the top and see parts of diving reefs, maricibo, & chuchacab, beautiful blue ocean. a small museum to get a little4 educated about the light house, and a nice beach to lay on and have a cool beer if interested, it costs around $15 to get in . thats nothing , just to help the upkeep.worth seeing just before you go around the island.

Had such a wonderful experience with Adrian! He was kind, funny, knowledgeable not only about boating, but also excellent at explaining the history of the region and people. You can tell he's very passionate about this place. Paid great attention to detail and safety. Top notch tour! Highly recommended!

This trip is so much fun. It’s a beautiful, remote spot. And it was even better because of our guide Adrian. He is smart, fun, and knowledgeable. He is a great guide but above all he is a gentleman. And he is a great chef and mixologist. A tour with Adrian is a MUST when visiting Cozumel.

A wonderful adventure to explore the northern most point on the island.
It's a pretty (and long) boat ride, with stops at "Adrian's cielo, the lighthouse, Mayan ruins, and a snorkel stop, which our group voted to skip because of the choppy seas and windy return boat ride. Also, included was sodas, water, beer, fruit, delicious guacamole. Adrian and his captain Julian accommodated our group of 8 by picking us up at our Hotel Playa-Azul pier.
Adrian visited Punta Molas as a 7 year old with great uncle and grandfather and explains a lot of the history of the lighthouse and the island, where his family has lived for generations. So, slow down and go native with the most interesting native guide on the Isla Cozumel!

Adrian, thanks for a memorable adventure and overall wonderful experience today! Your passion and energy are contagious! I’ve been to Cozumel some 14 times & today have not only had an adventure but have learned the rich history of Punta Molas, Mayan culture & beautiful stories of your 6 generation family that helped shape what Cozumel is today!! Highly recommend booking time with Adrian!

My husband and I have been coming to Cozumel for over 20 years and always wanted to see the north end of the island. However, there are stringent warnings about trying to take a vehicle up the 14 mile dirt road. THEN I found a tour offered by Adrian Cozumel that went by boat up the west coast and around to the furthest most northern point where the Punta Molas Lighthouse is located. The boat ride, a little bumpy at times, took about 45-60 minutes but what fun seeing the shore of the town from the water. Our adventure included a hike to the lighthouse through knee deep water up a sandy path and then a climb up the lighthouse itself. The views were phenomenal! From there it was a drift snorkel on the northern reef where we saw a sunken ship and many fish and sea fans. Our final stop was a hike through the Silver Lake Lagoon out to a small island with an ancient Mayan Ruin. Because Adrian was born and raised in Cozumel our entire experience was filled not just with incredible vistas but with information about the island and everything we were seeing. The best part?? For the entire day it was just Adrian, the boat captain, my husband, and I. No crowds…no noise. Just the sky, the sun, the sea breezes and the flora and fauna of the area. I highly recommend this tour! My only caution would be to read the description carefully and/or talk with Adrian if you are not sure that you can handle the physical demands of the trip. [One side note: Our trip started a little later than planned due to a problem with Adrian’s boat. Most tour operators would have simply apologized and cancelled. Not Adrian! Instead he found and hired another boat and captain to make sure we were not disappointed! Kudos to you Adrian for taking on the challenge on behalf of your clients!]

can you arrange a wedding at one of you lighthouses?
Rédigé le 4 août 2019
I seriously doubt that you could have a wedding at Punta Molas. It is just not reasonable for a wedding party and/or guests to all be able to travel to the northern most point of the island. In addition, it can be tricky to get there if the winds or weather are not good. VERY isolated!!

Could you give more info on:
- who is Adrian?
- where did you book your tour and how much does it roughly cost?
Rédigé le 11 août 2017
Hola. Sorry. I just got to see your questions.
This is Adrian:
Running free as a child in Cozumel on the streets made of sand of what was then a fisherman village; my playground was the lagoons, the beaches, the reef, the jungle and the ruins. It was a time to explore, hear stories about our island from elder family members and develop a deep love and appreciation of my home, Cozumel.
My name is Adrian Angulo and I am an independent tour operator born and raised in Cozumel. My family is one of the oldest families who reside on the island and are recognized for taking part in the early growth of the tourism industry in Cozumel today.
My grandparents started the first restaurant in Cozumel, Casa Denis; I grew up serving tables at Casa Denis and I still enjoy hosting and serving guests. My grandparent’s dedication and hospitality to their guests was set in my heart at an early age.
About 7 years old, I remember my grandpa asking me to take his guests on tours around the island. At that time there were just a few scattered hotels and a small number of visitors. I was not able to drive so I would jump in the back of the guest’s car and act as their guide for the day.
By age 17, I already owned my own boat and had a love and passion for showing off the island in its most natural way.
Life gave me the opportunity to leave the island, to pursue my educational dreams. Merida, Yucatan was home base for college where I had the opportunity to travel and visit the surrounding areas of the Yucatán peninsula. Through college I was fortunate to spend time in the USA. Atlanta and Chicago welcomed me through exchange college programs. With a business degree I came back home and continued working for my family.
From offering driving tours to boat tours, you can have the chance to sightsee around the island, explore the magnificent reefs, caves, Mayan ruins, and lighthouses; I can confidently ensure a safe and fun experience! I like meeting new people and making sure you have a great time!
There are no limits! Adventure, relaxation, and exploration are all part of the main reasons why people look for me. My tours are private tours. There is no minimum number of participants; larger groups are accepted if they are part of one family or one group of friends. I wisely learned from my grandfather that I should not mix people together that don't know each other. Therefore my tours are truly personal.
After my grandfather died, his legacy carried on, my passion was a gift to his friends who also loved Cozumel. I wanted to continue giving them the kind of adventure and good times my grandfather would give.
I created this tour company in his honor and will continue to create new friends and new memories for our island’s visitors.
There is nothing impossible. I will tailor any of your lies and desires into an unforgettable experience in Cozumel or the Yucatan Peninsula. The key to a customized tour around our beautiful island is your imagination, book a tour through me and I guarantee you satisfaction!
WELCOME, I hope you enjoy this website; it was created to make your experience in Cozumel easier and more enjoyable.
Gracias!
