So many stunning things to see with a story to each. We had an Egyptologist as a guide which was incredibly helpful as Many is an understatement to the amount of artifacts that are housed here.

Really lovely museum, with more artifacts than expected! Take it from a history student, the artifacts look like the real deal even though they are replicas and it is definitely worth the visit! They have a great gift shop as well :)

the little museum is situated inside a school and is full of interesting and historical Egyptian artefacts/sculpture. My children especially my son enjoyed and immersed himself in the atmosphere.they have coffins of King Tut, his beds, his chairs(four of those), old urns, writtings, sculptures of Egyptian pharos and queens.
The guide(Emily) at the museum is awsome and explains everything very well. She also offered us the costumes and jewellery to wear.they also sell jewellry, pens, diaries, calenders ,keychains etc which our kids bought. We had lots of pictures and its highly recommended to families.Only one thing i need to add its not open every day, please call the museum to confirm that can they arrange the visit that day .good luck

Very nice placd to visit. You will spend like almost all day and you will not finish. The golden mask of Tuthanhamone is the best one to see.

My son loves Egypt history and he was the one find this museum online. I was hesitant to visit at first. But we were so surprised and plan to revisit again. The museum is not big. It is about 5-6 big rooms. Main focus on tomb of Tutankhamun. It shows many replica of artifacts from tomb of Tutankhamun. But the replica are really in good detail and in the actual size. We “feel” we really in front of all these treasures. We were impressed. The tour also includes 30 min YouTube video to talk about the discovery of this tomb.

I hope the museum can continue to grow

Or find out when you get there that it's closed. Like we did. Hours are not as shown online or in Trip advisor. Essential to verify.

We were looking for something to do on a Sunday morning in Mississauga and saw this museum listed online. We tried to look at their own website to confirm the hours, but all we got was an error message which is never a good sign. As we were going to be in the neighborhood anyway, thought we'd throw caution to the wind and drop by anyway.

When we arrived at the address, we grew somewhat suspicious as signs at the large commercial building here guided us around to the backside where we found a very small sign and no activity around their nondescript door. Undettered, we parked and checked the door - yep, locked. We looked around and found an entrance into the building that was open and went inside for a look around.

We were surpised to see a Coptic Orthodox sanctuary (no service in progess but people were praying, and we guess all the kids running around were possibly related to the church in some way). We also spotted Egyptian artifacts (or more precisely reproductions of artifacts) and packing crates scattered around.

We finally found the museum office and the inside of the locked door we had been at outside, but also no one actually related to the museum. We looked into the locked gallery itself - it was small, but still setup so the museum still exists more or less and may be open sometimes, just not when we were there. We still didn't see any indications of what their hours were though.

After we got back to a computer, we did some additional searches and found different sets of hours (take your pick) on different sites. All we can suggest is call ahead and see if someone is there. From what we saw in the halls, it looks like a lot of their material may be reproductions, which are still interesting but perhaps cultural center would be a better description than museum.

This museum is of course a must see for anyone taking an interest in Egyptian antiquities. Here are the artefacts that you didn't find in the many temples and tombs of your visit. There is some breathtaking material especially of course the Tutankhamen collection. Although giving the museum a nice stuffy feel, it's heartbreaking to see how badly preserved many of the collection is, kept in glass cases from the middle of the previous century with nothing but a hand written note to explain the background. Sure, Egypt is building a great new museum to house these treasures but it is taking forever finishing it. Hopefully this will happen soon.

Went to visit a museum at night. Kinda cool less crowded but kinda spooky in a way when you’re surrounded by old stuff and mummies. They got great pieces from thousands of years ago but maybe the place is too small for all the good stuff. King Tut gallery is the highlight of the museum. The mask is there and looks very splendid. Admission fee at night is more expensive than during the day which they dont say it on a sign. Also no photography allowed unless you buy a photogppass. However people do take a snap when they don’t see no guard.
