Me and a friend with her daughter visited today and had the loveliest time. We had the breakfast high tea ... a must. Very tasty and worth the money. Staff were amazing so friendly and helpful, can't wait to go back.

Chesepeak Mill remains a place to slow down, rember you childhood and all of the things the generations of your family once loved.
Sad to say, the cafe is now not vegan (new management /owner). Coffee a little harsh, bakewell a little dry, but the setting makes up for it and maybe not being vegan creates more appeal.

Love this shop!! Always like a visit to an Aladdin’s cave!!. A great place to buy special gifts, full of retro, antiques, shabby chic, garden stuff.

Interested in the old and curious, come here. So many things to look at from a range of periods. Just for a few hours browsing or if you have a theme you want to complete for a room in your house.
A place to forget the outside world.
Vegan cafe is also great, some creative, tasty dishes that will make all except the hardest of hard core carnivores think twice about how much meat they eat. Anyone that says vegetarian food is bland has not been here!

We've been visiting the area regularly for years and always call in at the Mill. Whilst acknowledging the challenges of current times, it just feels that some of the vendors need to make more of an effort to find better quality stock.
Hopefully it will get back to how it was!

An amazing historical building, which is worth a look for that alone, but if you're going for 'antiques', forget it! I would say this place is full of mostly 'tourist antiques', rubbish you would buy similar to that from any tourist attraction gift shop, or garden center. Reasonably priced it is not. Don't even bother 'haggling'...no one wants to know. Charity shops are a better bet. A lot of repro stuff, or stuff badly restored by people who have no idea what they're doing. This place could be awesome, but sadly it falls short of its potential.

An amazing place to visit. A host of goodies for sale from old & antique to unusual items. You turn the corner and there is another cave of goodies! All reasonably priced. Difficult not to come away without a bargain!
Parking is very limited. Park in the Station Car Park it's free and only a few minutes walk!

Very interesting building, you can find out more about it in the heritage room. All sorts of old and new, different items for sale, sometimes you can find things you never thought of. Staff is welcoming and helpful if you have any questions. The downside is there are only a few spaces of parking in front, but you can use the free car park that is at the top of the road on the left hand side of the building.

Chesapeake Mill (though not an "attraction" .....will have you attracted after your first visit! There is so much to see over 2 floors and so many twists and turns that lead you to room after room of delightful, fascinating items on sale - and the prices are fair too. The Mill itself is a lovely and historic building with an area (On the ground floor) set aside to enlighten visitors with its "history".... I visit often and am on speaking terms with most of the wonderful and helpful staff......too miss a great day out (it will take you a good while to enjoy it all) would be a sin.......If peckish, visit Offbeet for a delicious bite to eat or Coffee also (on the ground floor) (Not open on Monday as it is open all weekend)

hi thank you for your question, we do have wheelchair access on the ground floor, and also a disabled parking space within our limited parking car park. unfortunately being a grade II A rated building we do not have wheel chair access to the second floor, but the ground floor is full accessible.
look forward to seeing you.
