Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur Corridor is the largest gurdwara in the world 🌎. Pakistan Government has done a wonderful job in the renovating and visiting process for every devotee and tourist. It is worthseeing place with an experienced tour guide, who could elaborate each and everything in detail. If you want to explore Sikhism in 1 -DAY from LAHORE then you should visit NANKANA SAHIB, SACHA SAUDA & DARBAR SAHIB/KARTARPUR CORRIDOR from Lahore to Lahore. It is very easy but with an experienced tour operator or a tour guide.
Highly recommended!!!

Travelled to "Kartarpur Sahib Gurudwara" from India to Pakistan in March 2023. Immigration on Indian Side and Pakistani Side was smooth, easy and friendly. Passport is required to travel alongwith approved ETA (ELectronic Travel Authorisation). Currency Exchange can happen on the Pakistani Side (USD/INR to PKR & Reverse).

While crossing the border from India to Pakistan, the feeling was a mix of spirtualism & excitement for Darshan as well as seeing the final resting place of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Gurudwara Complex is very nicely made and well maintained. Delicious & Nutritious Langar (Free Kithcen Food). Good Market for Quick Shopping. Upon return from Pakistan to India, the feeling was that more and more people should avail the facility of Kartarpur Sahib Corridor, provided as a friendship gesture by Pakistan and India Governments, respectively.

Please avoid taking any plants etc from One Side to Other Side. Take Proper care of Hydration (Water) during summer time. Rest, all terms are mentioned on Websites, ETA.

Better to travel Early in the Morning, so as to spend maximum time at Gurudwara Complex.

Overall Very Blessed & Happy to have visited Gurudwara Kartarpur Sahib Ji & taken blessings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji

Revisited Darbar Sahib Kartarpur for a second time on11/12/2022. One GuruDwara where you can really connect to the supreme power. Being in Pakistan there are very few pilgrims at any time unlike in most of the gurdwaras in India. You can spend as much time as you want in the sanctum sanctorum meditating and praying. The Pakiatan Govt has done a very good job in renovating the gurudwara and making the entire process of visiting Kartarpur easy. Must visit for any devotee and any tourist

An amazing location embedded in Sikh history. A vast site. You have to go through an airport style security checkin process with it being located on the Border.

A lot of security presence. Wheelchair accessible and facilities available. Not a fan of charging none Sikhs to enter although 400Rps (£1.60) could be considered a small donation towards the upkeep of the site.

The site is multi cultural which is great. Muslims freely walk around an interact and get involved is the Seva.

A very humble and pleasurable experience and would definitely go again.

Beautiful and Serene. Best time to visit is early morning if you wish to avoid crowds. Langar is served with so much love and devotion. Extremely neat, clean and tidy place. There is a small local market outside the Gurudwara selling sweets, suit pieces, artifacts, etc. The shopkeepers accept INR as well so carry cash if you wish to indulge in shopping. You can get decent quality suit pieces for INR 1500

If travelling from India, allow 1 hour for immigration both while going and returning.

Kartarpur - Narowal - Pakistan
District: Narowal
Province: Punjab
Tehsil: Shakargarh
From Lahore, it's around 140 km and can take up to 2.5h - 3h drive ( road and weather conditions ). M11 is and 2 lane motorway. Kartarpur Corridor the 4.2 km approx road/passage which links Dera Baba Nanak Town ( India ) with Pakistan ( Narowal District )and as we call it the " World Peace & Harmony Project'. Sikhism Religion ( Pilgrimage )
Guru Nanak initially founded the Kartarpur town by Ravi River around 1515, setting up a community kitchen/langer. The Gurdwara is built where Guru Nanak is said to buried.
Wikipedia
"Significant phase in the life of Guru Nanak Dev – the founder of Sikhism and first of the ten gurus of the sect. It's here on the banks of river Ravi that he laid the foundations of a new faith. He came to this town between 1520 and 1522 and spent the last 18 years of his life"
Sikh brothers coming from India have to come through the Wagah border – covering a distance of 131 km. All roads in Punjab now lead to the Kartarpur corridor. While Amritsar to Dera Baba Nanak is 48.3 km, Gurdaspur is 36.8 km from Guru Nanak's birthplace. Pathankot is further away at 78.2 km.

Exhilarating!
Anyone who visits this place can assure you two things!
1. The Hospitality and welcome by the state of pakistan is spellbinding.
2. The place is so blessed that you leave it with a sense of fulfilment and inner bliss.

I visited from the Indian Side and the govt has made the facilitated the process really marvellously with a small application to be filled online.

The Indian side terminal has a huge car park and one can go on road or there are free bus services hailing from dera baba nanak and amritsar.

After a few mandatory but necessary checks just like an airport
You reach the pakistani terminal on electric vehicles after crossing the beautiful Ravi river enroute.

After a warm welcome and a fee of 20USD yu are transferred to the Gurdwara complex in no time.

The moment you see the complex and interact with people you just get filled up with nothing but love.

There is an exhibition by Fakir Chand Museum of Lahore which is also a must visit.

All in all in this hate filled world this site is an apostle of peace bringing the much needed respite from the ever prolonged hate politics engulfing the 2 regions.

Nanak did this difficult task 550 years ago and is also doing this today.
He has again opened hearts bw hindus and muslims, bw indians and pakistanis as all he knew was the language of equality, brotherhood & love.

I often wonder when radcliffe line demarcated indo-pak boundaries why did Kartarpur stay on pak side being just 4kms from the border but today on looking back i get my answer.
Had it been on the Indian side there would have been no kartarpur corridor and no harbinger of peace in 2 conflict laden regions.
You must must visit this place no matter which sect you associate your self with or whether you are agnostic.
