Truthfully, it felt cooler in Cyprus at 38 degrees. It was so unbearably hot & uncomfortable that my mum & brother had to leave before the show even finished. You cannot hear all that much from the top row of seating, lots of people left / asking what he said / fanning themselves. Experience wasn’t great at all and left before the show ended in the end as it felt totally pointless being sat up there suffering. Lots of seats eventually became empty. Not to mention the 2 members of door staff who were shouting at people to hurry up, seemed a very aggressive start to a nice little family outing for my mums birthday.

The Forum looks quite run down from the outside, but we were pleasantly surprised by the venue once inside! Staff seemed to be running around without a clue about what was going on. Guests were left flooding the building, waiting for their seats as staff were not letting anyone up the stairs. It was very overcrowded and badly organised, with everyone getting to their seats much later than stated. However, the venue was lovely once sat inside and things ran smoothly afterwards.

Really interesting old building, thoughtfully restored and back in use for good use. We saw a lookalike George Michael, who was really impressive and the venue was just the right size to make it more personal rather than getting lost in a sea of people. Strange that the balcony is not used more for these gigs. Seating looks to be in process of being replaced with newer ones, probably from venues that have closed. Good parking within a minute of the venue.

First visit to the Forum, very busy night, queue fir drinks was long but moved quickly, decorated nice and seats were more comfortable than they looked. The main problem is with the toilets, huge queues even for the men’s! The queue for the women’s toilet was massive, my wife said only 4 toilets were working out of the 6 and there was never any toilet paper to use, which is pretty poor in this day & age and needs addressing by the management.

This venue is celebrating its 90th birthday this year. If you love art deco, the interior is an absolute peach! We’re very lucky that the lengthy renovation of the Bristol Beacon drew a lot of top acts to Bath, ones we usually had to travel to Bristol or Salisbury to see, so we couldn’t believe our luck! Handily close to parking, trains, or busses, it’s also easy to get to. We’ve been many times to concerts and we enjoy not having to travel, which makes concert-going possible mid-week.
I think it only fair to mention that there are drawbacks. The auditorium was originally a large cinema, so if you care about acoustics, avoid sitting upstairs. We had to sit upstairs for Squeeze and Jools Holland, and the sound is nowhere nears as good as downstairs in the stalls. The auditorium isn’t properly air conditioned so it can get very hot! The seats are ancient, probably the original seating, and not the most comfortable.
Perhaps the most annoying thing is the venue’s policy of selling alcohol throughout the evening and having lengthy intervals between acts, to sell more alcohol. It means that inconsiderate people are constantly going back forth for alcohol- even during the performance- being a distraction for other audience members and no doubt the performers! Some people get very drunk and noisy, especially at the area at the back of the stalls. The staff don’t appear to think this is a problem, but the building is owned by a church and they don’t seem to have a problem making money out of selling alcoholic drinks and the bad behaviour it causes in some people.

Great venue but, 42 pound a ticket ended up costing 50 with "booking fees" and have the cheek to charge me for a e-ticket, which I print at home. Come on Bath forum you now paying your bots now to end emails?

We are fed up with queuing outside the Forum for every show - it means whatever time you get there, you have to stand down a grubby side street to shuffle along to get into the theatre. This leaves no time for the loo or drinks, and is a painful inconvenience to anyone with mobility issue. By 7:25pm, the security staff had given up checking bags and just waved everyone through - making a total nonsense of any idea of event security. The queues at the ladies loos were as ludicrous as ever - and meant that the show started 15 minutes late. Forum management - sort it out.

We saw Tom Bailey last night who was great.
Our problem was not being able to go to the front for a little dance.
I saw Nick Heyward last year and everyone who wanted to were able to dance at the front.
This time we were virtually frog marched away and this felt embarrassing.
An 80s band like Thompson Twins ....and forced to sit down.
I would advise anyone to not see an act at the Forum that is even slightly danceable ......if you want to be forced to sit then it may be the venue for you 😏

Hello, can anyone recommend the best seats to book?
I'm about to book for a rock concert later this year and was thinking of booking Row C, but am now wondering if this will have the higher chairs some reviewers have mentioned right in front of it?! Thus blocking the view.
Rows AA to B are still available for this concert but are cheaper so I thought these might be a bit of a neck strain looking straight up at the stage.
Any advice will be gratefully received! Thanks in advance.

Hi there
I was seated near the rear of the stalls and it was a good unimpeded view.
