Bridgette customized our tour for our US -Canadian family to include Omaha and Juno beaches with the great Canadian and American cemeteries. She picked a perfect restaurant for lunch for us all. While on a time schedule we never felt rushed. She is very gracious and kind; you will be very happy you booked her!

We toured two days with Brigette. She does a wonderful job. Her English is excellent. Her knowledge of the area and small side facts along the way is wonderful. We did the American Normandy the first day and Mont Saint Michel on day 2. Her various pictorial guides really helped explain the history of what we were looking at. We toured with her in 2018 also. I would highly recommend using her as a guide. She offers many tour options in addition to Normandy.

Bridgette was very personable, knowledgeable, and accommodating! We only had time for a half day tour, and she customized her tour to fit our exact needs and wants. We would love to return to do her full day tours. Merci beaucoup!

We arranged the tour of Normandy during a one day stop at LeHavre on our cruise ship. In planning, we saw some wonderful reviews of Bridget Simon, owner of Unforgetable-Normandy, and we engaged her services for our group of six. It was a wonderful tour, even though the weather did not cooperate and we dealt with hard rain during the cemetery visit. Bridget was very knowledgeable, cordial, and friendly. She could share information without being overly detailed, but could follow up with details when requested. She had brought some helpful graphic and pictorial representations showing the order of battle, while we stood on and around the sands where so many died for our freedom. We were moved as much as we were informed. Bridget’s command of our language (American English) was excellent and we had no difficulty understand everything she said (not always the case with non native English speaking guides). She was flexible and adaptive to our tour priorities, and brought us to a great place for lunch....delicious food and reasonable prices. She was a careful driver, neither speeding nor dawdling. Overall, the tour was like having a knowledgeable friend show you around. The 6 of us agreed we had picked the right tour guide for our one day opportunity. Strongly recommended!

Toured the Normandy beaches and even though I knew the story and had seen the pictures being there always is moving. We had a very good explanation by our tour guide Sophie who was very knowledgeable of the history and took us to some out of the way places to explain some little known stories.

Bridgette is an excellent guide Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery. Amazing history lesson of D Day. Had lunch and went to a lovely town of Bayeux. She wasn’t feeling too well just getting over a cold but she met us at the terminal when she could have canceled which would have been devastating for us since no other tour guides were available that day. Thank you

My husband and I had a spectacular day with Brigitte Simon. We toured Omaha beaches, the American cemetery, Pointe du Hoc. She is very knowledgeable about World War II history and trivia. She was delightful in sharing her family history and explained what life is like for her family. She took us to a great restaurant for lunch. She made our day so very memorable. Thank you Brigitte!!

The 6 of us had a wonderful tour of Normandy with Brigitte Simon. We stayed in Bayeux, France. She picked us up at our hotel and for 2 days we were immersed in the strategies, ingenuity, and incredible heroism that occurred on D-Day and beyond. We saw the invasion from the German side and the planning and fortitude from the Allies side. What a marvelous perspective of the event that changed the world. I highly recommend Brigitte and I also recommend that you book her for 2 days to see the most out of the way places and of course all the regular sites surrounding that incredible event in our history.

We did a 2-day tour of Normandy sites with Brigette. She not only showed us the obvious places (Omaha Beach, Utah Beach, Arromanches, US Cemetery, etc.) she took us on the back roads and small towns to get a complete picture of what the Allies faced when landing and fighting the Germans.
It was fabulous and we all thoroughly enjoyed our time on the tour.
I suggest you book Brigette and allow at least 2 days to get an in depth understanding of D-Day!

We had a great tour of the American D-Day beaches and Mont St. Michel with Brigitte. She picked us up at our hotel and whisked us into the heart of Normandy. She provided a very informative tour and excellent details along the way. It is clear she is passionate about history and proud of the region. We learned so much about the D-Day landings and Normandy in general. Brigitte made this a very special tour for my family.
