We have a great variety of trees in the Amsterdamse Bos. In November a lot of trees have already dropped their leafs, creating a beautiful tapestry of colours on the forest ground. But there are also a lot of trees that don't shed their leafs all year round. So there's enough to see and enjoy ;). Check out the weather reports for the current predictions. Hi Fiantika, The blossom period of the cherry blossom trees in our ‘Bloesempark’ usually starts in March or April and lasts about 10-14 days, depending on the weather and blossom. When the blossom starts to take off we inform our visitors through our website: amsterdamsebos.nl. NB We recommend visitors to come on weekdays and by foot, bike, or public transport, to avoid parking trouble and to avoid the park getting too crowded. Dear Enas A., The Amsterdamse Bos is situated in the south of Amsterdam. From the city centre it’s about a 20 minutes bike ride. For more information, check out our website: amsterdamsebos.nl/english. The cherry blossom trees (in the ‘Bloesempark’) are’n blossoming yet, but they almost are. We expect they will start to blossom within the next couple of days/week. It’s always hard to predict the moment of blossomming, mostly because of the weather. Hello Balucky, Thanks for your message. Yes, in most areas of the Amsterdamse Bos, dogs are allowed. In some areas they have to be on a leash, in other areas they can run free. However, there are also areas where dogs are not allowed to enter, because of the vulnerability of the environment or (in summer season) on crowded recreational meadows.
