Very disappointed with The Warren at Folkestone, we stayed at the nearby campsite and walked our dog through the warren daily. However we were disappointed at how dirty the area was especially when it’s meant to be a haven for wildlife. The amount of dogs mess laying about was just unreal. People visiting obviously didn’t respect it which is really sad!

So popped down there on a very sunny November afternoon.
The paths through the scrub had been cleared and the steps were clean. Just a bit of mud here and there.
The view of the Martello Towers was good.
The view out to France was simply stunning.
Big ships, lots of them.
Big sky.
Big sea.
Big colours.
Big opportunity to fall in love with a view.

We walked The Warren from the Morello towers, through the scrubland that separates the sea from the chalk cliffs. Shame the path is so overgrown, as there are no views out to sea until you reach the rail-bridge, which is nearly at the train tunnel. From there you walk back along the shoreline, watching the shipping do it’s thing in the channel. About 5 miles circular, all in all.

Beautiful walk. Has toilet facilities. Pitt and putt, tennis courts and bowls green are closed for the winter. The playground is neglected and does not appear safe for children

Make the short climb up the steps from the Sunny Sands beach, to this large park to enjoy the amazing views across the whole of Folkestone, but also towards the white cliffs to the east of the town. Amazing viewpoint and great place to walk the dog.

hier kann man wilde Strände erleben, die nicht ganz einfach erreichbar sind, aber dann viel Natur bieten und eine tolle Aussicht auf die White Cliffs.

Serve una giornata di bel tempo per goderselo: non siamo riusciti ad andare oltre la Martello Tower 3 a causa del vento molto molto forte; la vista però merita.

Visited in summer and it was stunning the beach has the white cliffs behind leading onto either the concrete apron or the sandy or stone beach, Behind the beach is woodland and walkways. Great for either a beach day or nature walk and you can walk up to two cafes at different points.

Its worth taking five minutes to stand and stair at the views of the cliffs, the water and on a good day, France over the channel

Yes. Use the coastal path that takes you along the cliff tops or do some of it by the sea in the Warren then back up the “zig zag” path to the coastal path.
