Have travelled through Callander plenty and always meant to stop off for an ice cream from this shop. We looked at the reviews beforehand and were surprised at the poor ratings we saw from many reviewers.
We ordered two double ice cream cones - one with a regular chocolate waffle cone and the other with a large chocolate waffle cone. This came to £10 for both. Yes this is maybe slightly pricey but it is a touristy area and since Covid places will have increased their prices.
The 4 different ice creams we had were all lovely and the selection available was great. I don’t know the individual prices of our items but mine being slightly smaller I imagine was around £4-£4.50
I don’t see this as hugely expensive for two large scoops of good ice cream and a good sized chocolate waffle cone. In most other places, especially if popular tourist spots, I’d expect to pay similar.
There were also seats outside where we were able to sit and enjoy our ice creams.
I’d recommend going here if stopping in the area :)

It was a sunny afternoon in Callander and we stumbled across this shop selling ice cream. The mint choc chip was not available as it was frozen and needed 2 hours to defrost.
So we had 2 salted caramel single scoops in a cone.
The ice cream was very overpriced and not worth the money, 2 cones cost £9!

No prices advertised, half decent macaroon and the world's worst tablet I have ever tasted in my life! I don't expect perfection like the tablet I make, but I didn't expect to chuck the whole thing in the bin. I think it's definitely Scotland's Infamous tablet.... You have to try this to see how rank it really is.

Extremely expensive £9 for 2 single scoop cones. The most I’ve ever paid for 2 ice creams. If I’d known the price I certainly would not have purchased.

Over priced RUBBISH and total waste of money don’t encourage the greed of the owners £19:50 for 5 cones try the shop further down the road

Do not buy, rubbish. Bought Baileys Tablet. Didn’t taste anything like Baileys. Prices are extortionate. Don’t waste your money. Better putting your money down a drain.

Bought their supposed "World Famous Scottish Tablet"
Not quite sure how its 'World Famous', and it certainly wasn't Tablet - It was actually a very sickly fudge.
All these items are unpriced and weighed at the point of sale where a small bag cost an arm and half a leg.
The shop is obviously a tourist trap, and anyone venturing into this overpriced establishment should make sure they have a healthy bank account.
** WARNING ** CHECK THE PRICES BEFORE YOU BUY

They should be wearing balaclavas. £17.50 for 3 2scoop ice creams most expensive ice cream I've ever had made worse by the fact one of the kids didn't want the waffle cone so had wafer one but was given half scoops instead of fulls ones and as I knew my hubby wouldn't like the waffle cone either I got his in a tub again the scoops were far smaller than what was put in the waffle cone. If the prices had been on display I would of went somewhere else. £17.50 daylight robbery. Will not be back.

I was really looking forward to tasting the “World Famous Tablet” so I had high expectations. I was sorely disappointed! The prepackaged bar was labelled”To be weighed at point of sale” so the price was unknown until then. In my opinion it was expensive for the quantity. When I tasted it it bore no resemblance to “tablet” it had the softer texture of fudge. The flavour just tasted cheap, with a hint of treacle. I looked at the list of ingredients and was surprised to say the least that it contained palm oil (no treacle).
I am at a loss as to why this tablet is world famous.
