My husband's grandfather fought at the Battle of Cantigny in May 1918, and we had been talking since 2000 about going to France with our children to see the battlefield and related sites. Murielle and Frederic customized the 7-hour tour to our interests -- they requested information about my husband's grandfather's regiment, etc., so they could show us the field in which he would have been standing, where his group spend the night before the battle, the monument for his group, etc. (He was reported KIA and listed as such on a monument but actually died in 1972!) We also visited other sites related to the Hindenburg line, trenches, cemeteries, the canal and tunnel, etc. Very informative tour and personable guides, and we highly recommend. We would not have found much of this at all on our own, and it was a very moving experience. Not recommended for young children due to length.
