This is a must visit . The water falls is exactly as seen in the pictures and videos. The ethereal blue natural pool is the one of a kind. All visitors need to rent a life jacket for 100 INR to experience the water goddess. The water is pretty cold but once you're in it you just are in a different world. Wear fitted clothes or tights as it is easier to 🏊♂️. There are stairs to reach the base of the waterfall. It takes around 15 mins. Entry fee is 50 INR/head. You can even go boating where the water is calm. There are paid washrooms and changing rooms. The caretakers charge 10 INR for each use. Pay them after using as they tend to forget if you pay ahead as there are lot of people around. As tourists we need to be more responsible and stop littering and learn to keep the changing rooms and washrooms clean. I'm ready to jump into it any day. Will surely visit it again. And recommend it to my friends and family.

No words are enough to talk about the Meghalaya waterfalls, which are still pristine and less explored. If you are traveling this part of the country a bike ride is the most suitable option, as the roads are good and the environment is clean and clear. September is the best month to visit these waterfalls as the waterfalls have enough water and the weather is pleasant. in the majority of the waterfalls you can swim without many restrictions; however, be mindful of the risk factors.

Amazing view have to walk around 100 steps or so to reach there. We went thr with our 2 kids one 5 and other one 2 yr old. Just took more precautions as the walking area was a bit slippery and it's uneven/rocky once u reach the falls.

It's like a hidden gem. Don't miss it. The most beautiful waterfall and also a place where you can rent a life jacket and swim. This is near to Dawki. So plan it accordingly.

These are the waterfalls which you will always see when you search for Meghalaya. The falls can be reached after a long climb down from the parking but there is a view ping in between for those who don’t want to climb all the way. There is a small pond in the end where you can swim. We entered through the second entry for which you need to travel further after seeing the first entry board as that is closer to reach the falls. Not a lot of eating options here and public amenities were under construction.

Krang Shuri is fast becoming a favourite hot-spot owing to its elegant fall topped with turquoise green waters lagoon below. A swimmers paradise as the fall is not violent and the lagoon is not too deep. The water too is not very cold either.
Wearing a life jacket is mandatory while entering the lagoon for swimming. The walk down to the falls is also light and easy. It took us 15 minutes downstairs and 20 minutes upstairs. You do get to see the falls from far off distance within the first 4 minutes of walk. In case of any elders who cannot walk down completely, they can have a clear cut glimpse of the falls with the 1st 300 meters of the walk downstairs.
There is a boat as well but only one I believe and the wait time was more. Dud not opt for it. Life jacket is mandatory for the boat as well.
Zip lining option is also there for 300/-. I did not see anyone opting it though. Entry ticket to the falls is 30 and car parking charge is 50.
There are few small eateries near the parking where you get Maggi , snacks and thali as well (predominantly non veg)
Our driver was quite fast and safe and he took us from Shillong (Mawblei/Laitmor) in just 2 hours each way. The roads are good and not having ghats.
You will get to see many trucks as you approach Jowai.
Tip: I recommend not to take the 1st entrance (from main road) to the falls as it is a long walk from there. Ask your driver to take you to the 2nd entrance/car parking.

Can we cover krangsuri, dawki plus mawylylong in 1 day ,starting from shillong and night halt at cherrapunji, if not, which is better in april, krangsuri plus dawki, or mawylylong plus dawki

You can surely cover all 3 in one day with quite ease & it is better to stay in Mawlynong only as Cherrapunjee would require another 2 hour travel. Please note that Mawlynong has home stay options only whereas Cherrapunjee has all variety of hotels & luxurious resorts.

We travelled there from Mawlynnong Village through Dawki & went on to staying at Umiam Lake( Shillong) after doing the water fall.
