The temple itself is beautiful and will be worth the trip. However do not take the offerings from outside the temple. You will be forced to park your vehicle in front of shops and then force you to buy a bowl of offerings for Rs 1500 per person plus Rs 500 as pandit fees for doing some mantras and not to mention the beggars when follow you un-relentlessly.

Please wise and avoid the touts and make the best of your visit to this beautiful temple.

Scam still continues. Few men/boys block the road so cars can’t pass and demand or divert cars to parking loots to scam people.

Why can’t city officials have organized process to reduce scam and thereby increase tourism and people feel safe to travel to the city.

Reached Shani Shinganpur from shirdi by shared private bus (Charged Rs 200/- both ways).
Don't need of Puja Thali, most of the materials are not used inside the temple, get few flowrers, and a small bottle of Teel oil, and payment of Rs 500/- for pouring the oil directly on the idol.
One can get MSRTC bus or shared taxis, autos, private buses and cabs from Shirdi at anytime. Also, one can reach Shani Shingnapur from Sambhajinagar via Ghodegaon (6 km from shani shingnapur) by MSRTC buses.

This temple of Lord Shani at Shingnapur is around 75 km from Shirdi town. Many taxi drivers may approach you when you go or come from the Samadhi mandir in Shirdi. During March-23, the return taxi fare with AC was quoted at Rs. 2000/- in Swift Dezire. 3 to 3.5 hours are required for the return trip. Keep your footwares in the taxi and walk barefoot with oil from there. If you want to pour the oil directly on the idol, then you have to pay Rs. 500 at the counter near the idol. Otherwise, you may give the oil to somebody who is already in line by paying Rs. 500. Otherwise, you pour the oil into the shaft, which leads to the top of the idol. After Darshan, have Prasad from the counter.

We drove from Shirdi, about 70 kms..From other search engines, I read different reviews..people just pour til oil, leaving plastic containers, messing up the place. Nobody seems to know the village, as I read that there are no doors for the houses etc....there are only shops selling til oil and related items

I have visited to Shani Shingnapur in Jan 2023 to seek the blessings of Lord Shani. It is situated 65 kms from Shirdi. You can go by road, train or air via Shirdi. It is a Swayanbhu Shani Devsthan & thousands of devotees visit everyday to this place to seek the blessings of Lord Shani.

You can get pooja Sahitya near Mandir. Also, you can get prasad & lunch.
The devsthan is open from 12 AM to 12PM.
This Swayanbhu Shani is in the form of Black imposing stone which has self emerged from the earth.
Lord Shani showers blessings on devotees who visit Shani Shinganpur.
A must for all devotees to visit at least once in his/her lifetime.

Shani shingnapur which is known for its trust and honesty and being theft proof, is a hoax. Being a tourist from the other state, I got scammed for darshan from the local so called honest people of shani singnapur. I will recommend those who want to visit the place, don’t ever fall for any words said by the shop keepers and the local guides and the car drivers who has a commission on the customers purchases. Worst experience for me in all of my visits to devotional places all over india.

A Divine Encounter: My Spiritual Journey to the Shani Temple

I had an spiritual and uplifting experience visiting the temple dedicated to Shani Dev. Shani, also known as Saturn in Hindu astrology, is a deity venerated for his powers of judgment and retribution.

Sacred places like this temple can often provide profound experiences, deepening your faith and spiritual connection. They offer an environment conducive to contemplation, reflection, and renewal. Many believe that visiting such holy places can bring good fortune, spiritual growth, and a sense of tranquility.

Remember, the peace and spiritual connection you felt at the temple can also be cultivated in your daily life. Even though the temple might hold a special sanctity, the divine can be encountered anywhere, and at any moment. Your experience at the temple is a reminder of the divine presence in all aspects of life.

May your visit to the Shani temple continue to bring you blessings, spiritual enrichment, and peace in your daily life. Remember to carry this positivity forward, sharing it with others in your community as well.
