The roads into the lookouts have not been maintained for many years and would be risky for 2-wheel drive vehicles - big deep pot holes or in the wet, bog holes. Department of Infrastructure and Transport need to fix this ASAP - before fixing the Eyre Highway which is equally an abomination.

The cliffs have to be some of the most spectacular anywhere but sadly there are few viewing points and the two or three available give limited views. One is operated by an Indigenous group and charges and the other two or three provide limited views.. The Nullarbor is quite beautiful but the services are poor.

If you’re travelling along the Eyre highway, then technically you don’t transit through most of the park.
It only borders the coastal area from 100 kilometres after Yalata and ends a little before Eucla - heading West.
From May to October is your best chance to see dozens of Southern right whales and sometimes Humpbacks.
(At the head of Bight and also not within the park).
From memory, the turnoff is about 30km prior to the Nullarbor roadhouse.
It’s quite possible to spot camels herds along the way too, so be wary on the road.
With the actual Park being so huge, you can spend as little as as much time as you like here.

To drive through Nullarbor Plain was fascinating indeed. It's flat, it's remote, it's treeless and there is Australia's longest straight road with 146.6 km. But it was never boring. The whole ride was approximately 1'660 km. The second day was with 900 km and 11 hour on the road a long day but very interesting. There were many places to stop and walk around and stretch the legs. Don't miss the stunning viewpoints at the coast to see Bunda Cliffs, we also saw a nice cave and some wildlife as eagles, emus, birds, a camel … Unfortunately we saw only a few kangaroos. Due to the drought they moved further south to the coast. Surprisingly there were also biker, motorbiker and a hiker with a baby's pram on the road. To stop at the famous road signs was also nice. Unfortunately they were often polluted with graffiti. It's a shame that a few tourists leave more than just their footprints. Enjoyed the special experience.

the head of the bight is a a 2 day drive from Adelaide but well worth the effort as the area is so intersting and seeing the whales is very special in calving season, May to Oct

WOOOOW
Traveling in the middle of nowhere: no trees, no towns, no people.
We have been driving from Sydney to Perth and this road is spectacular.
Most likely there are just a couple of countries in the world where you can drive safely in the desert.
We saw also the wild camels.
Stunning

The Nullarbor national Park starts about 400km west of Ceduna in South Australia and finishes at the SA - WA border. A great drive with spectacular views of the Great Australian Bight which can be accessed from numerous viewing spots as well as free wheeling off road, but be careful you don't drive off the cliffs.

Right next to the roadhouse about 10km to get to on dirt road - dry weather only. Access to all 3 caves is permitted though only the third one you can safely walk in to. It will take some time to see them all - all close to each other and you can camp there too.

Or Nullarbor in Latin pretty well explains it I think ? A very different National Park to what most are used to as it is mainly completely flat , covered in small scrub & salt bush with the occasional clump of dwarf trees and bordered by the Great Australian Bight. If you venture off the Highway you find limestone strata with eroded caves & outcrops in several places. A great experience & a pleasure to explore and still finding little spots on my 3rd crossing with a Dingo close up this trip.
