A very good experience on this tour. The initial goal was to visit the Lemur Park. On this tour we not only visited the park, but also went to the upper part of the city.
About the park, excellent time elapsed, and the tour of the city very good.
The guide, was punctual in picking up and very friendly as well as concerned to release details of the daily life of the city.
100% recommended.

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Vivy Travel, who organized trip for me to a village outside of Antsirabe in order to see a Famadihana ceremony. The owner/trip planner for Vivy - Axel - was incredibly well-organized and went above and beyond to take care of every last detail. Meanwhile, my guide, Tsiory, was superlative: tactful, proactive, and deeply knowledgeable about Malagasy culture. I've traveled all over the world and have seen all manner of tour companies -- Vivy Travel is among the best.

I found Vivy Travel (I worked with Axel) to be very responsive and very thorough in the information they provided, including recommendations that fit outside the scope of the trip we booked with them. My friend and I did a 7 day trip to Masoala, which is far off the beaten path. We were very happy with how the trip unfolded (despite weather related adjustments) and how on top of everything Axel was. There were also a number of trips that I asked Axel to propose which we didn't end up taking. But he was able to give a number of ideas for things well off the tourist paths and that I would never have found just searching on the Internet. I'd happily recommend their services.

1 week private tour of Madagascar. The driver and Guide in Andasibe and Antananarivo were well received and very good, but the driver and Guide in Morondaba was not good enough. I felt a drop in the quality of the Guides.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the service provided by our guide Luca in Andasibe and Antananarivo. However, we are sorry to learn that the service in Morondava did not meet your expectations.
We want to inform you that the presence of two additional flights in your itinerary complicated the relocation of our car to Morondava. As a result, we had to rely on another local agency for that part of the trip, which unfortunately led to a decrease in the quality of the services.
Please be assured that we take your feedback very seriously, and we are committed to addressing this situation to ensure that all our service providers meet our quality standards, even when working with other agencies. Your satisfaction is crucial to us, and we are taking steps to prevent such issues in the future.

Picked up on time by a fairly nice chap, and taken to the highest point of Tana and walked down. The guide didn’t really know anything about Tana, didn’t take control and kept asking, “what do you want to see”. We told him “we want to see what’s on the tour”. tour is advertised as 6-10 hours. Max you need in Tana based on today is 4 hours. We frequently asked him “what’s next?” His response “let me think”. When he came up with nothing we asked to be taken to a restaurant. We were told we only had 40 mins to order and eat as it took 90 mins to get to the airport. Google maps advised 28 mins (and had been pretty accurate the rest of our time in Madagascar). We took our time and indeed it took 28 mins to get to the airport. Overall a disappointing day. Should have stayed in bed til 11am and then done a half day city tour. Would definitely not recommend this company. Didn’t even get to the photography museum. Guess he didn’t think to read the itinerary.

From the beginning to the end, the tour company and the tour were excellent for me. The planning and organisation of the trip by Axel was so professional and really was customized to suit my need.
The tour was excellent and the guide Faby was super professional. He was so experienced that I felt very safe throughout the trip. He also was very considerate and made the tour a perfect experience. For instance, he asked what would be the things that I would like to experience (e.g. scenery, culture, or history etc.) and he tried his best to introduce me to various captivating places in Madagascar.
The whole experience was phenomenal.
The tour was excellent and the guide Faby was super professional. He was so experienced that I felt very safe throughout the trip. He also was very considerate and made the tour a perfect experience. Antananarivo is a great city in Madagascar. We were taken around by Axel in his 4X4 and he was able to show the city in the evening. He commands a lot of respect among the hotel management and patrons in the industry. We were given a lot of attention and hospitality thanks to his company. If you want to enjoy Tana you have to consider his company.
