Hardly any variety, just a place to make money by officials. No place to bank on during either holidays or weekends

Islamabad zoo is the one of my most facetious place and this is very green and Beautiful place.people love to visit here from different parts of country and forners also visit here and enjoy a lot beauty of Pakistan is famous all over the world

120 staff 80 only are gardeners only animal been abuse staff are not helpfull with no knowledge.
Animals seems so sad 😞 mostly Animals been cadge shamfull for pakistan

Very shameful, animal abuse,dirty

This is a very shameful zoo animals were kept in small cages, the bear, elephant, lion were all visibly stressed all pacing back and fourth, the bear was facing the wall the whole time with his head down his nails were so long they were curling the whole cage was cement so he had no place of scratching his claws their was no water for the bear to cool down in or for the explanation the elephant was hitting his head off the wall and the lion was very thin and kept pacing back and fourth for 1 hour straight. They had multiple species of birds in one large cage and they were all having a massive battle Royale, they kept owls and eagles in the same cage, the monkeys were looking at us with small and painful eyes made my heart hurt so much. The only healthy animals were the ones that could sustain themselves on grass and water. The female lion was making weird sounds and was limping for most of the time and the other half she was lieing down looking very thin aswell. I did not even bother with the Dino park although I have heard it is good. People were throwing apples and popcorn on all the animals they were hitting the bear on the head with apples and no zoo keeper in sight for almost my whole 2 hour trip. Parents were encouraging their children to yell at the animals and throw food in the cage and it was only the peolle from lower class like villagers. The smart people who instantly knew this was wrong left the zoo after only 10 minutes of visiting. I had a conversation with a man and he said the stench made him almost vomit from the elephants cage. The whole zoo was littered with trash. Was honestly one of the most embarrassing and shameful places I’ve ever gone too. This should not be brushed under the rug and needs to be brought into the light. It’s 2020 people why are we letting these people get away with animal abuse. Please islamabad fix this zoo it’s super deppresing

Visited it with family members. Neat lush green background of Margalla hills. Neat and clean. Would love to see it again.

very nice place. almost all animals are there. coffee shops and cold drinks are also available. there is no rush normally in day time.

Die Tiere drinnen tuen mir sehr leid

Ich würde das nicht als Zoo betrachten, da die Tiere drinnen kaum Platz haben und sehr abgemagert ausschauen. Der Elefant hat sogar eine große Wunde gehabt und es hat nicht ausgeschaut ob jemand sich darum gekümmert hat. Dieses Zoo kann ich beim besten Willen nicht empfehlen.

Verdammte Tierquäler...

...und reihenweise verblödete Touristen, die rein garnichts verstehen, sondern nur gaffend durch die Gegend trampeln auf der Suche nach "Attraktionen".
Die Tiere dort im Zoo werden M I E S E R A B E L gehalten und gequält, zuletzt ist dort wieder ein Bär gestorben.

パキスタンの様々な野生動物がいると思い、訪問したが、思ったより動物の種類が少ないように感じた。広くて素晴らしいが、少し期待外れだった。

Nestled in the foothills of the Himalayan mountains. In one of the prime locations of the national capital. Easily accessible by road. It has everything needed to make it a success.

It’s too bad that the “zoo” is a disgrace. The animals enclosures are a joke. The grounds are trashed by the hordes or visitors who seem to have no concept what a trash can is for, or that throwing popcorn at animals isn’t healthy.

Children have fun here. Adults will enjoy watching the children having fun. But overall it’s a pathetic zoo.
