Such a nice, professional person. Easy to communicate with, great English and will message you back quickly. Car was comfortable and clean. We used Thavy for air port transfer, to Angkor Wat tour with guide and ride to Phnom Penh. Very easy to deal with and to trust him.

While Siem Reap has always been worth the trip, the new 44 kilometres distant airport makes life difficult. Now, at New Year, the vital Shuttle Bus ($9) is not running. Instead visitors are asked to pay $35 for a taxi....having just paid $30 for a visa. Not nice Cambodia.

The new airport is amazing BUT don't get your visa on arrival! We had to queue up at one desk and he took our passports off us! then go back to another queue and pay your $30 then go back to another queue where after queueing again they then played who's passport is this? holding it up for people to recognise their photos. There were 10 officials behind the desk and each were doing their own bit and passing it on to the next. What a total farce!! buy your visa before you travel but do make sure you have the Cambodia government website or you can be easily duped! A few of our party paid as much as £160 each! It should only be $30.

We arrived at Siem Reap airport with our printed Boarding Passes which got us far as Security. However, because we had printed them and they had readable QR codes they were unacceptable to the Security Staff!
Be warned, unless you have airline printed boarding pass you will not be allowed through Security!

For those seeking transportation to their hotel after arriving at Siem Reap International Airport, there is a Tourist Transport Assistance counter which you will find immediately to your left as soon as you exit the Arrivals area of the airport building. Seems they are open from 6.30am to 11pm nightly.
There is a poster on the window that provides fixed transportation prices (see picture). In January 2020, we found stated prices to be Mini Van: 60,000Riel($15), Car: 40,000Riel($10), Tuk-tuk: 36,000Rieal($9) and Motor bike: 36,000Riel($9). You can pay at the window in cash only I believe. Tell them where you need to go. You will be handed a receipt and shown to your driver who will take you directly to your property.
Note: the rates above are high for Siem Reap. However, they are fixed and prevent you from having to deal with those who may price gauge you at the airport if you didn't previously arrange transportation before arrival.
Note: You can arrange similar tuk-tuk transportation for US$4-5 from various tuk-tuk drivers who have online websites. These were not difficult for us to find while researching our trip. Also, some hotels provide transportation pick-up from the airport that might be free or less expensive. It is worth asking your hotel in advance of your travels.
As for our ride from the airport, the tuk-tuk driver was polite and timely in delivering us to the hotel. He did ask if we had plans for visiting the Angkor Temple as expected. We informed that arrangements had been prior to our flying into Siem Reap. He didn't ask anymore.
Overall, it was a pricey but good, hassle free ride to our hotel.

Once we arrived to the airport, we had to fill out another formulary with our data (I wonder why didn’t we get that one on the plane, like the two others formulary we had to fill out before hitting the immigration office). The officers took our passports and the pure bureaucracy process begun. After waiting couple of hours we finally entered Cambodia. We’ve asked for a taxi driver at the desk and got a young man, who was very helpful, assisting with plenty of information, and suggested he picks us up tomorrow in front of the hotel and shows us around Angkor Wat for only 45 dollars (otherwise we’d pay much much more! - his words). We said we prefer a tuk tuk and that was the turning point. He became more and more agressive in pushing his agenda (no tuk tuk because it’s dusty, warm, not pleasant, money won’t go to the tuk tuk driver, no tuk tuk driver speaks English, civil war, people suffer, children, ... and all other sort of things he was talking about, hoping we will change our mind and book him). The whole situation was quite unpleasant. All in all, we didn’t book him, instead we met a tuk tuk driver in Siem Riep, who drove us around Angkor Wat for the whole day for 18 dollars. Of course we tipped him generously. All in all - don’t buy the airport’s taxi drivers story. Find a tuk tuk driver you like and stick to him for your Angkor Wat, Siem Riep or anything else you feel like discovering!

After waiting some time for the driver that was supposed to pick me up I was cross and not very polite to the man that I booked taxi with. I chose Remork , which it like a tuktuk, and cost US$9. I didn’t read the form they gave me until now and they donate some of the money to the Angkor Children’s hospital and the Red Cross. Not sure how much as the driver gets half( though they pay $30 a month for privilege of being at the airport) and they would have to pay the office staff. It’s fast service and judging by the number of people waiting for free pickup by hotels you might as well just pay the $9. The drivers are there to hopefully find people to hire them for tours to the temples. I was lucky and Kong was great driver for next three days. It’s unfortunate that we aren’t allowed to post phone numbers because they aren’t all as good I’m told

The tuk tuk and taxi fares from Siem Reap airport to city of US$9 and US$10, respectively, are a rip off. Choose a hotel that offers free airport pick up or walk outside and get a tuktuk at normal rates.
