This was truly one of the most rewarding experiences I've had in some time, and a praiseworthy initiative. Beautifully spread out alongside the flowing waters of the Khadakvasla Dam, tastefully landscaped, an unobtrusive but helpful staff, and an impressive and eclectic collection. Time constraints meant we could only visit 3 of its galleries, but we mean to go back again -- and again. It's an ambitious project, and one hopes Ajit Gadgil achieves his dream of keeping the Arts alive through the coming generations. We also enjoyed our time in the cafe: I'm picky about my regional fare but left feeling very satisfied.

This is quite a known place for living in and around Pune. You will find so many food stalls selling some crunchy quick bites and tea. Best time to visit is between 4 to 6 PM or early morning hours. The scene is quite beautiful and rainy season is the best time to visit

This dam is very famous for picnics and weekend gateway. Water supply to city of Pune is from this source. Dam is located away from city and gives you feeling as if you are at Beach. Very old structure and good surroundings attract tourists to this Dam. Must visit during rainy season.

Located close to Sinhagad fort, visit this place to enjoy the serene and solitude atmosphere and fresh air away from the traffic and noise and pollution of the city. Worth taking a stroll here.

It was amazing view around the Dam and no visiting spot can be better than this if you looking for morning or evening walk. It ain't a beach but you will get same like a beach breezing cold air during evening time was cool. The place was well maintained but few garbage was there but overall a good spot to visit.

This is one of my places to go when I want to see water, enjoy cool breeze and some conversations with my beau.
I always prefer the last stall as the stall owner makes coffee to my preference. Also, his tea is pretty good.
Along the entire stretch, a lot of stalls are available which serve chaat, onion fritters, corn, and icecreams.
Couples as well as families frequent this place.
Pro tip: Very crowded during weekends, I prefer visiting post 8.30 as the crowds start to wane post 8.30 pm as do the food stalls/ trucks

Can one visit this place during night time I mean after 11-12 in the night?
Rédigé le 29 juin 2018
You are not suggested to do so as after sunset this place becomes dark and all shops remain closed. Also you cannot see anything in the dark. Until you have any specific purpose to go there please avoid.
