Beautiful and wild beach

It was just in front of my beautiful hotel Alamaya , very nice beach . Not easy to swim all the time . Beautiful walk and surrounding .

Beautiful beach. Excellent for surfing

This beach is a surfer's paradise. It's simply lovely with perfect surfing waves.

Not a good beach for snorkeling. Excellent for swimming and just enjoying the water.

A great beach for surfer to the ocean of India. But because of problems of ownership it has become disorganized.

Waktu kesana sudah mulai sore, lihat suasana disana tenang banget, enak banget buat santai santai, tapi sepertinya disana tempat penyu bertelur jadi harus hati hati agar tidak merusak ekosistem

A surfers beach - too strong undercurrents for swimming when we visited. A small homestay and warung and convinient store at the beach.

Great area

Its not just kerewe'e beach you need to visit here. The whole area has a special feel for me. if you head down to the West end of the beach you'll see a headland which most people don't go and explore. its stunning, just over the other side you have possibly the nicest beach in Sumba (see attached pictures) which is nearly always empty. You then have another tow beach around the head land before you hit Marosi Beach. You can spend many hours in the area walking around the head and seeing the beachs. its now being connected by a road, its only limestone right now but will be tarmac next year. This is a very special area!

pantai biru berpasir putih

berempat dengan mengendarai 2 motor jam 8 pagi menuju pantai karewee.
sejam perjalanan kesana dari kota waikabubak. kemudian mencari tempat yang teduh di bawah pepohonan. lalu menggelar tikar yang dibawa, kemudian membuka bekal sarapan..
sarapan pagi dengan nasi kuning di bawah pohon sambil menikmati pantai.
kemudian beristirahat sejenak untuk selanjutnya bermain air ataupun berjalan jalan..
kalau saya hanya berjalan jalan di sepanjang bibir pantai.
kemudian datang anak anak kampung yang membawa kelapa muda, 3 butir dijual 10 ribu rupiah. kami membeli 3 buah kelapa, ternyata banyak anak yang kemudian datang menawarkan kelapa muda, tapi kami sudah membeli.
yang kurang di pantai ini adalah fasilitas mck dan petugas kebersihan. di salah satu sudut pantai banyak sampah plastik yang berserakan terutama botol bekas minuman yang dibawa pengunjung yang dibuang sembarangan.

Pantai para Peselancar

pantai ini masih sederet dengan Nihiwatu Resort, mungkin jaraknya beberapa kilometer saja.
berjalanlah ke arah kanan, dibalik bukit terdapat pantai kecil yang indah diantara 2 bukit.
terdapat penginapan Musa Homestay yang dimiliki oleh bapak Musa. biasanya penuh sama peselancar mancanegara

Musa's Homestay

Lovely little home stay right on the beach. Only opened a year ago and we were stoked to find it as accommodation options have been so limited in Sumba for such a long time. Musa and his wife Reta are lovely, speak only a little english but are very caring and attentive. The bungalow is gorgeous (basic though) and bring a hammock and then you will be so happy! There is another little beach over the hill at the end of Kerewee beach that has a beautiful lagoon for swimming in. Great location. Price negotiable but be prepared to pay around Rp 300.000 per night including food.
Also, no fridge so bring some cold beer if you want it! You can rent a bike from Musa and there is a shop that sells cold beer at the bridge 5 mins drive towards waikabubak. Only if cold beer is important to you :)

Pantai dengan pasir padat

Sebelum acara Upacara Adat Pasola dimulai pantai ini sangat sibuk menjadi arena pemberkatan para penunggang kuda terutama dari desa Sodan, para tetua dengan Rato jalan dari desa ke pantai ini...pantai dengan pasir padat memanjang hampir sejauh 1 kilometer dengan tebing batu berbentuk dinosaurus, kita bisa menikmati sunset sambil minum kelapa muda, dari anak2 yg mahir sekali memanjat pohon kelapa yg rata2 tinggi, dengan harga Rp 3.000,- atau aneka minuman dan keripik dari satu2nya warung disitu. Ada 1 homestay dengan biaya murah. Untuk bisa sampai pantai Karewee kita harus menyewa mobil dari Waikabubak dengan lama perjalanan hampir 2 jam.
