# After 10 years in House Tenboss, famous for its life shot
⁇ : @huistenbosch_official #Houstonbosch
Full of the exotic feelings of Fukuoka Nagasaki House Tenbos
I've been to the Spectacle Summer Festival! (7/5 to 9/8)
It's the sunflower season, the sunflower season filled with windshields.
I also ⁇ the festival, which was open only in the summer season, and I used to use a headband in the atmosphere of the sea.
Instead of a thrilling entertainment, a theme park full of photos, we recommend White One Piece!
⁇ 🏻 Photo Spot ⁇
The ferry entrance, the three-step ferry entrance, the potato museum, the palace art tour, the Grand Tour, and the seasonal flowers.

It was my first time there.
My first family trip to Huis Ten Bosch with my children was a moving and fantastic space.
But one thing.
Children are honest.
At first, excited children saw Huis Ten Bosch from the express bus,
A bus arrives in front of the entrance gate.
As soon as I got off the bus,
It stinks. "Oh, my God!" he cried.
It was my first time at Huis Ten Bosch, so my dream fell apart from the start!?
I was impatient.
I think the first thing is important when it comes to welcoming exciting guests.
Huis Ten Bosch also has a beautiful flower garden.
I wondered what the smell was from the entrance.
Huis Ten Bosch has Dutch streets and lovely flowers.
I think it's important to have a nice fragrance spread out from the entrance!
I was relieved to see the children smiling as they walked in.
I look forward to it in the future!

More for family outing with kids. Rather expensive entrance fee. Restaurant food is pricey inside. Go up to the highest building level to get a good view of the entire place. Very beautiful colourful lights at night and some fireworks to watch. Good place for photographs especially in spring where there are colourful tulip flowers everywhere.

Super fun and crazy to spend a day walking through the Netherlands in small, or Madurodam in t groot! The buildings were all exactly like in the Netherlands, so were the streets, all very much detail on the outside.
There were also some things better: eg here you are allowed in the Dom tower, there are very few tourists (all day rain ☔️), everything in Japanese!
That is an advantage, if you translate it to the Netherlands, but a disadvantage for here in Japan of course. (In Amsterdam you should look for someone who speaks Dutch)
There are attractions in all the big buildings. We did 4-5, and then stopped, because you can hardly understand anything. Even with translator in hand, it is still difficult to follow. What was also disappointing is the sharpness of all the digital attractions. It was obviously made 10-15 years ago.
Some nice and lesser examples: Three-story high carousel, large indoor playground, giant rat, digital fish game, beautiful ‘naked flower’ exhibition (maybe something weird with the translation) with a whole hall full of fragrant and digital flowers, a flower bar (same theme), space exploration game (all Japanese), underwater exploration game and ride (all Japanese, and a very exuberant loud screaming attendant)
Special was Huis ten Bosch Palace itself. Also a bit dilapidated as befits a palace, Miffy museum, palace garden, the whole history of the royal family, and a beautiful ballroom painted by the Dutch painter Scholte.
All in all, a very nice day, we were all tired, but besides the beautiful buildings, which are exactly like the original ones, the attractions all miss something. In addition, we think that if the weather is nice, it would have been a beautiful day , with maybe also a little more visitors!

Many people will likely become repeat visitors after visiting once. With seasonal flowers blooming all over the park, shows, and illuminations, you'll never get bored all day long.
This time, I stayed at Hotel Amsterdam, the only hotel inside the park. As it's a hotel inside the park, you can stroll around the park after closing time and before opening time. It gets a little dark inside the park, but the lights are still on during the night. It's also nice to stroll around the quiet park before it opens.

It was just before the May holidays, so the flowers were a little lonely.
In the daytime, three friends and I enjoyed tea and a set of sandwiches and cakes at the cafe in Hotel Europe. The live solo piano, solo violin, and guitar performances were wonderful.
A scone was 500 yen and came with jam and clotted cream, which was richer and more delicious than the real British cream.
In the evening, we ate Italian food and were enchanted by the illuminations, and were very satisfied.
I'd give it 3 points for the day and 5 points for the evening.

Aren't the reviews too good to be true?
Perhaps it's a lack of manpower, but there is no staff in the park, so even if you have a question there is no one to ask.
The cobblestones are difficult to walk on, dangerous, and very tiring.
Tickets and food and drink were expensive.
It's heavily advertised in Tokyo, but I only regret going there.

Lots to do at the park for all ages. Tickets are not cheap, but acceptable. Not that nice if it's raining, would be nice if they add more indoor/covered cafes/restaurants. The scenery and flowers are nice, with some attractions and evening illuminations/shows and souvenir stores (look for the Huis Ten Bosch limited edition Nano Block!).
Can get crowded, but can use the app to check the line up time/show times, which is quite useful.
Quite a bit of walk inside the park , the shuttle can be more frequent.
Some restaurants have quite a line up , and the ticket/queuing has to be done by Line app, which foreign visitors may not have.

Went here during the tulip season. Amazing sights specially if you catch tulips during their bloom. Park is wuite big. Got the 1.5 day pass which is I believe just right to tour the park at comfortable pace. Plenty of food options also inside the park at reasonable cost

Is thousand sunny still docked there?

How much is the entrance ticket, just the sight-seeing only, no theme park rides? Where can I buy this ticket?
Rédigé le 12 février 2020
One day pass is 7k yen. Tis is good for whole day access to unlimited rides.
If you buy at 3pm you will pay only 5k yen included rides. Canal boat ride is a must do. Actuallythis fare is worth to see the scenery, kingdom of lights n rides n many attractions

Hello, I am planning to take the JR seaside Liner to Huis Ten Bosch and leave my luggage at the train station and take the JR express back to Hakata. Please advise of the trains have a luggage storage area and elevators for luggage use. My luggage size is 27 inches.
Rédigé le 18 janvier 2020
Huis Ten Bosch Station is a small station, but indeed it has luggage storage (lockers), in the waiting room. And there's an elevator to the platform.
Rédigé le 19 janvier 2020
Do we need to buy the train ticket in advance? We will be coming from Hakata, staying overnight in Huis Ten Bosch and returning to Hakata the following day. Do we just purchase the train ticket at the station on the day we are travelling?
Rédigé le 28 octobre 2019
You can buy at train station, if its not a public holiday in Japan (not so much of crowd).

I’m want to visit huis ten Bosch. But i can’t find any (affordable) hotels nearby. Or are there just any? Would love to be there at night as well. Otherwise I need to go there from Nagasaki or Fukuoka and then I would have to be on time to get back.

Are they any ways to get cheaper tickets for a family? it seems fun but so expensive is it worth it?
thanks
Rédigé le 20 juin 2019
Firstly, Japan is a very expensive country, so "generally" everything here is very expensive.
You can try travel sites like Klook, which offers special prices for various Asian attractions regularly & if you are lucky, may get what you wanted.
As to if it is worth it, it really depends.
Everyone has different opinions & perspectives.
Usually, I would look at the overall total reviews ratings. If a high percentage of the total reviews are in the "Excellent/Good" categories, I will go ahead.

I booked an overnight stay at Nikko hotel, do I need to pay an entrance at the park?

Yes, you can buy the ticket from the hotel.
