We did not do the kayak tour, but the Mangrove Tour on a motorized boat and our guide was FANTASTIC! We learned SO much about the local wildlife in the Mangrove forest. We saw bats, monkeys, eagles, fish, etc.. Thank you thank you for a wonderful tour!

We started off on a motorised boat to the bat cave, and then onto the floating restaurant where we were briefed about going on the kayaks and given waterproof bags to put phones, wallets, etc in. We were also given water in reusable glass bottles, in line with the company's environmentally friendly ethos. We then set off in the kayaks through the mangrove forests, out into the main waters again to see the eagles, then back through more mangroves to the floating restaurant. Our female guide was excellent. She was extremely knowledgeable on the environment. We had lunch at the floating restaurant before heading back to the start point to get the transports back to our various hotels by around 3pm in the afternoon. It was a little nerve-racking for non-kayakers but we felt safe, although adventurous and it was a bit of a work-out. Do take sunblock! Definitely a wonderful experience on beautiful Langkawi. We loved it. There was one couple on our tour who had two young boys, between the ages of about 8 and 10. They were fine, with one child per parent in a kayak but it would not be suitable for much smaller children.

What can we say! This little 5 hour adventure was quite something. We didn’t start with the kayaking from the very beginning. Our guide initially took us to see the bat caves, after which, we spent about 2-3 hours on the kayaks, and it was a lot of fun. We went across the lake, saw it’s connection to the straight of Malacca, and then continued into the Mangroves where we were able to see the only trees in the world that can survive in salt water (look out for the sacrificial leaves, that look yellow and help the tree dispose of the absorbed salt!). We were told that nothing dangerous lives in the water, but we did see a snake on the branch. We wouldn’t let this put you off going though- highly highly recommended. Beautiful, very peaceful and an excellent way to experience the forest up close!!

We book this through whatsapp and we have no idea that this would be so much fun! They had arranged a ride for us, because our hotel was so far away from kayaking place. Everything was told us very clear. First we took a little boat ride and went to see bats on the cave. That was exciting and between the caves we saw monkeys really close too! Then we continued to floating restaurant and we left our stuff there. We started our 5km kayaking trip and that was so much fun, but physically very hard. Our guides were fantastic! they supported us and told us what to do with the kayak all the time. We had a chance to see eagle feeding and that was amazing! There were so many eagles and the birds came really close, while we were swimming. After kayaking trip we went to eat to the floating restaurant (we didin't see any of captured fish in small nets). Food was fine. We had a ride to our next visiting place and guides helped us to find what we were looking for. The trip was unforgettable and we really enjoyed to be with these guys! Recommend to all!

Langkawi Kayaking Adventures is a must do activity when visiting Langkawi.
My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of having Roy as our tour guide. Not only did he show us around, he was also extremely informative regarding flora and fauna as well as cave structures and local history.
My girlfriend and I had little to no kayaking experience, but Roy was patient and articulate with teaching us correct technique.
We started out by meeting Roy at Geoforest Park, where we hopped on a boat to go and see the bat cave. Roy explained the cave structure and behaviours of the bats, and helped take some great photos for us.
Afterwards, we got back on the boat and taken to the floating restaurant, where the kayaking equipment was kept. There was a safe place to leave our belongings and after a demonstration/lesson on how to kayak we were off to the mangroves. Roy was extremely patient while we figured out how to paddle.
The mangroves were breathtaking as we paddled through the naturally formed channels. We saw an array of wildlife including monkeys, fish and eagles.
After the kayaking which went for approximately 2 hours, we retired to the floating restaurant where we were served with cold beverages and a delicious, well earnt meal.
To finish off we took the boat back to the starting location in the Geoforest Park. I cannot recommend this tour enough. Roy was a professional of the highest calibre and I am sure the other tour guides are just as impressive. We will back back for sure. 10/10 experience with zero downsides.

This was a fabulous experience for the kids & adults, we really enjoyed experience cause we are a really active family & seriously love being outdoors in nature. The kayaking part is a real workout so make sure your ready to push forward in the heat, the lunch supplied after was delicious and scoured all from a cute local family.

It was a great experience for my friend and me(seniors). Both of us has no experience in kayaking and are worried that we both may not take the stress of paddling for 3 hours. Our greatest fear was falling off(kayak over turn) and luckily we did not and enjoy the trip and coaching from the guide who was very patience with us. Our greatest surprise was we actually paddle across the water from one side to the other with boats moving pass us and survived...yah!!! The guide was very good and coach us well.. thank you Nisam for arranging this trip of us. Well done, will definitely recommend this to those going to Langawi.

Great kayaking experience and beginner friendly. Trip begins with a tour of bat cave followed by kayaking through the river and mangrove swamps. After moving through the mangrove trees, the journey continues until an eagle watching area where eagles can be seen flying very close as we sat on our kayaks. We were treated to a hearty meal at the end of the trip, just in time to appease the hunger! The guide was friendly and informative, willing to assist with any difficulties along the way. Definitely recommended.

It was a really a great experience.
This activity starts in the morning and finishes in the afternoon,Lunch was included in the package.Our Tour guide (Nizam) was very good, he took our kayak trip through a canal where we also did swimming which was very refreshing.
