The 2023 Los Angeles Auto Show at the Los Angeles Convention Center is the best one yet!
Test drive the latest electric cars-like the amazing Tesla S that I took for spin-and lots more to see and do.
Along with all the car manufacturers featuring their latest and greatest there is also private car collections such as comedian Kevin Hart's terrific group of classic cars and resto mods-check out his 1959 Corvette "Mint Condition"-WOW!
Exotics,supercars,hypercars,lowriders,sports cars and off road- its all here at the Los Angeles Auto Show-now till November 26th!

Sometimes it's hard separating a convention center from the event that brought you there and the city it's located in.
The physical layout is nicely done with a North and South Tower and a bridge-way that connects them. Large and small meeting rooms are everywhere. This convention center could literally accommodate 10's of 1000's of people at a time. Both the interior and exterior are appealing to the eye. The catered food was well done.
While I liked the physical convention building, I did not like downtown LA and the dirty surround area. Crazy high LA pricing abound. You will spend $100's of dollars for a burger and beer with friends. Hotels will be $300 a night with $100's more per night for wifi, parking, etc. Your drive from the airport to this location will be filled with cement highways, brown smog, run down buildings and sketchy areas. It's not pretty at all.

Seem to be well managed with easy access. Nice big and open spaces for any large function. LA Downtown not quite as good. Not recommended to walk at night after sunset. Lot of shady characters.

For the very first time, I attended a Car Show - and this one was incredible! With a close friend, who owns a Mercedes, Porche, 2018 McLaren and 2022 Tesla, I was very knowlegable company - and he was impressed also. He has been to many, many car shows, including this one 10 years ago.
The service at the one-seat KIA mobile was A+. Throughout the day, especially at the Ford "ride in" area, we were treated warmly and really VIP. The only negative was signage for Porsche as my friend and I had the toughest time, had to ask 5 diferent workers WHERE we'd find the Porsche drive around. Finally, we located it, and it was a bit disappointing as it was so short. Do understand that we had spent 30 f+ minutes trying to find it, so by that time, we were hoping for more. The arrangement of each car company's offers/models was well-done, and we enjoyed sitting in lots of coming-soon cars - very exciting and peaked my interest in a few models that I previously had no interest in. So all in all, we felt if really was successfully done - and we look forward to next year's!

This was our first time to an Anime convention. We were so excited. However, since 100,000 tickets were sold, you can kind of understand the low rating. It was terrible; way to many people. It was very hot inside and we couldn’t even see or literally buy anything!! Many things were sold out. Parking was about $50 - $60 to park.

Very Specifically in the massive location I was hard pressed to find a single gender neutral bathroom. To my knowledge there are none. Given most areas seem to have around three sets of gendered restrooms, I hope the LA convention center will consider a minimum simple swap of the signage in, say, one of three or so bathroom sets of locations to denote gender neutral use with or without urinals.

Sad auto show, worst ever, save your money, Porsche was the only German vendor. No BMW, Mercedes, Bentley, etc. Mostly electric and US cars.

Attend conventions in LA on an annual basis and the building is definitely central to LA with many things around. Could use an upgrade as it seems old but the staff is very helpful and the conventions are well organized.

News reports the city of LA and LACC spent billions to put 5G public access wifi into the LA convention center.
No one is available to talk about it.
No one knows what the Network is, no one knows the password. No one can use it and nothing is being done. Shoulders are shrugged.
Posted numbers don't connect.
Is there Free Public Wifi in the LA Convention Center?
What is the name of the network?
Is a Public Password or app needed to gain access?

Can I reserve parking at the convention centre? If so, how? If not I’d just plan on getting there early to ensure a spot and I see from their website it states parking as being between $15-$30 a day, am I able to find out in advance or just have to pay whatever it is when I return to my car to leave?

I read that the LA Convention Center has Free Wifi but it's in the cafe. I'll be volunteering at the Rock N Roll expo on Friday. But I need to bring my laptop in case I have to work. I won't be able to volunteer if I can't. Last few times I was there the Cafe was closed. Does this mean NO WiFi? And if there is WiFi how do I know where and how do logo on. I'll need to try as soon as I arrive as my work is time sensitive and clients can't wait for me to run to Starbucks.
Any help you can give would be great!!
