My friend and I were looking for a fun day at the winery. I searched for live music and Bel Vino Winery came up. We got there, and as soon as the bartender saw us he ran away to the back. We found it a bit odd how quickly he ran out, but we were just trying to figure out where to sit since I was with my baby. Around 3 minutes later Jessy Thompson-Hyle (manager) came and asked me to leave because kids weren't allowed on Saturdays. She stated she was the owner. The winery website did not state kids are not allowed. I was okay at first, but then, I saw two families of the caucasian race coming toward my direction with two babies. I didn't see them leave so my friend went back to talk to the manager but she never came back to talk to us. They sent the security guard to us, and we ask him what was the age limit which he stated was 18 months old or younger. My friend asked the two families if they were asked to leave and they said no because their kids are under 12 months old and they can stay. Jessy never asked me how old my baby was. As he falls in the required age group. Today I checked the website and they updated that 12 months and younger were allowed at the winery on Saturdays. I feel very much discriminated against because we were of a minority race. I have never been sent away from any winery I have ever been to. The fact Jessy never came out to talk to us made me feel some type of way. She didn't handle the situation professionally as an owner as she claimed/ manager. Not to mention she was dressed proudly as KAREN for a costume in today's society.

Great winery. Staff is awesome. The live music is so fun! It will be nice once the state allows the dance floor to open again but until then we will just dance at our seats. The wine selection is quite large. There is something for everyone. Love the wine slushies! Looking forward to visiting again. Good to note they do not allow children on the weekend and they are not pet friendly.

It has a nice European style view of the grapevines stretching away into the distance from the winery.
Lots of parking and a nice shaded outside seating area. We did the basic wine tasting and spent a lot of time looking at all the cool things in their store.
TIP: If you are visiting Temecula call the Bel Vino ahead of time to make a reservation especially at weekends.

If you like hearty smooth red wines this is it! This time of year is quiet on a mid wk visit. Trees on the property are beautiful!

We had a great time here! We were able to bring a picnic (we were here last Thursday and picnics are allowed Mon- Fri) Great grounds, fun wine tasting and our server, Jose Estrella was extremely personable and friendly. We enjoyed our time here.

This was a nice spot but the wines were just ok but the staff was wonderful. The views out the back are gorgeous! The red wines are nice but this is just a fun wine tasting spot.

We went thinking we were going to the wineries we are used to: see how they make the wine, taste different wines, and buy wines we like. But, this is a restaurant with grape vines surrounding it. So, we decided to embrace it and eat, however the wait was over an hour. We had a glass of wine while standing up, as there was no where to sit, and left.

Nice place for wine. I picked this winery as a place to meet for lunch with relatives on a Thursday afternoon. The website said they served food. However, when we got there my cousin had ordered a bottle of wine to share but said the kitchen was closed on weekdays. It was a nice winery with tables and chairs on a large, open grassy area with nice views. We drank the wine and enjoyed chatting under the shade of a tree. Too bad the website wasn’t specific about the food only being available on weekends. We left to find lunch at a different winery nearby.

Met some friends here after not being here for several years I was most pleasantly surprised with the views, atmosphere, servers and of course the wine. Very comfortable with lots of tables inside and out as well as a designated area for wine club members to relax and enjoy. Such a nice way to spend an afternoon. I enjoyed a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, light and refreshing, not grassy, good for our warming summer weather.

The winery appears to be just about the highest point in the valley. We bought a bottle of Merlot (red), went outside and sat at a table with a wonderful view, and each had a glass of wine while enjoying the sunshine and the breeze. This was more pleasant than a wine tasting because we could enjoy the very good wine and the wonderful scenery in peaceful surroundings.
