We've enjoyed Monster Mini Golf several times in the past but (on the way over) found out this location closed earlier in 2019. Hopefully, a near owner will step in and reopen this quirky, family fun spot.

It is a fun indoor black light course with a fun monster theme. The course itself was well-lit (for a black light course) and it was easy to see the holes. I enjoyed the music and just had a lot of fun checking out all the obstacles and decorations. Bring your knowledge of geometry for this course, it has lots of angle and bank shots (luck or skill) are a must if you want a good score.
Because the course was designed to make the most of their limited space, there is not space between the holes. When we were there, there was only one other couple playing, so this was not an issue. But I can't help but wonder if they were busy where you would stand to wait for your next hole to open up if there were people ahead of and behind you.
I do strongly recommend the mini-golf, but I would say not to bother with the arcade portion of the facility. They had very few games, and at least 1/3 of them were not working properly or at all.

I recently visited Monster Mini Golf in New Port Richey, and I will say, it has character, but it certainly isn't the best mini golf place out there. Heck, I would rather visit Stop N' Play right down the road for some Mini-Golf action. The props are very real and cool. Did You Know that it's illegal to fart in public after 6:00 pm in Florida on Thursdays? Well, I learned that here. The mini golf round was fun, but it was hard to write on the scoring page. Anyways, the arcade wasn't that great. There were several broken machines pushed off to the side- like a nice-looking Elaut Crane Game and a Coin Pusher. I wish that it wasn't such a ripoff. for instance, on the Slam-a-Winner game, it ONLY gives tickets if you land in the jackpot, which I somehow did. I also won from the one working claw machine- the Toy Soldier- which was a Christmas-themed plush from around 3 years ago. Plus, the machines didn't always give out tickets when won- like the Basketball Game. The Mega Stacker is, of course, rigged, and there is a SLIP OF PAPER on the middle blocks. If I'm stacking there, how should I be able to win, even a minor prize? Anyways, last thing I will say, this place was being sold on Craigslist. Please fix the arcade, Usually people come for the golf, and stay for the arcade here, but here people come for the golf, and get distracted by how bad the arcade is and go home.

Nice spot for a date. Great music. Dont agree with AC issues. Got there at 6pm and it was nice and cool. Asked front desk about complaints and they did say it is a bit warmer,when they first open, as it takes a bit to cool the large space down. The NPR Area a bit isolated at night. Would take the kids back but during the day.

Great surprise in the middle of nowhere. Absolutely cool and much cooler than most mini golf places have to offer. Cant believe a place like this is in NPR. Arcade was for little kids but cool music. Just bot inthebest part of Pasco. We drove up from Trinity. Wish it was there. Older kids had a blast.

Monster Mini Golf is a great indoor mini golf experience. It's very dark inside but black lights illuminate the 'greens'. Monster art covers every wall and scary props litter the interior. Some props are mechanized but none were working during our visit. But nothing is too scary for young kids. In fact, most props are quite humorous, especially the giant carton or "toxicana" orange juice. Well done! The course is interesting and challenging at times. The darkness makes some obstacles difficult to see. Whoever putts first usually finds an unexpected challenge. The "fairways" cover every square foot in the building. Narrow barriers separate one fairway from the next, so there is almost nowhere to stand out of the way when someone else is putting.
Walk-in prices are $9 for adults and $8 for kids, which is a little steep in my opinion. But discounts are plentiful if you search for them before your visit. Parking is plentiful in this nondescript strip mall. Bathrooms were clean. Party rooms are available.
There is also a small arcade in front with a ticket reward system. Access is free, but prices for games seem steep. Reward tickets can be redeemed for prizes that are junk, but the kids love them.
During our visit, the attendants asked a few trivia questions over the intercom. Correct answers received a trinket or tickets for the rewards prizes. That was a nice bonus that the kids loved. Enjoy!

Music was extremely loud. Most of the games didn't work. The ones that did work didn't give tickets as they should. Temperature outside was cooler than inside. Very disappointed. Just don't go

We went for the mini golf with our 7 year old nephew, but he was too scared to walk into the golfing area. There was some creepy voice coming over the speakers, too. It was just too much, but we decided to enjoy the arcade while we were there. One machine said two tokens, but it took 5 to get it to run! The claw machine doesn't close far enough to get the small prizes in the machine.

Booked a party, hostess was MIA 90% of the time. Took forever to shift from each activity , so then I ordered tokens to accommodate my guests since nothing was prepared for a party I paid for and the only 2 teenager employees didn't have keys to get tokens so they went machine to machine to collect them. 90% of their arcades didn't work properly (lost money because it didn't start, didn't dispense tickets, or just wasn't turned on). They claimed to have supplied plates for food and cake, ran out of plates after the food and took 25 minutes to get additional plates ( I would have brought my own to have saved from embarrassment). Unless you want to look like you don't care about your kids, stay away from this place for parties. Rude management when I complained a couple days later ( closed on Mondays and no response for them on Tuesday), hostess will not host longer than 2 minutes at a time, most arcades did not work, management no where on property to supervise or make sure things go smooth. You have been warned!!!

This place has been here for years and we recently visited for the first time when we took our teen age granddaughter and her friend. It wasn't as bad as I thought it might be. It's definitely dark and doesn't seem to be maintained all that well, but the golf was entertaining. It is a bit of a challenge in the dark, even with everything glowing under the black lights. The a/c could have been cooler. Plenty of arcade games as well. Not a bad place on a rainy day or to get out of the Florida heat.
