This was a really enjoyable experience for our family. Captain Billy was great. He was very knowledgeable and was great working with our two children. Among the highlights was catching a small shark. We also learned about some of the points along the shore. Highly recommended if you are looking for a family friendly fishing adventure.

My family and I spent a morning with Captain Billy while we were visiting St. Simons Island. It was the highlight of our vacation and my girls had the best time! Such great memories made that will last forever. Captain Billy was so knowledgeable and friendly! I highly recommend going out with him!

Had a great morning on the water with Captain Billy! Lots of good stories about the area, funny jokes for the kids, and most importantly, he put us on the fish - even when conditions were not great. Very flexible and super family friendly. We'll be back for sure!

Billy is an entertaining and knowledgeable Captain! We laughed, learned about the area and various species of ocean creatures we caught! So much fun!

Billy is amazing and great with the kids! We have fished with Billy 3 years in a row. This is my kids (9 and 12) favorite part of the trip each year even as they are getting older.

Could I give more than 5 stars? My kids said a hundred and eleven stars! If we had caught zero fish we still would have had a blast. Captain Billy and his First Mate Reed kept the mood light and fun with jokes and information about the beautiful waters we were fishing. They were both patient and kept our kids (5, 7, and 9) entertained and engaged. We have been on several fishing charters and excursions and Captain Billy has set the bar high! We caught several species of shark (Black-tip, Atlantic sharp nose, Bonnet head) and a sting ray. We just had an amazing time! A must do adventure for adults and kids!!

Captain Billy and his first mate showed us a great time! We caught a bunch of sharks and didn’t go out too for the kids to be scared. He had drinks for us and jokes too. Highly recommend for kids!

Our experience with Captain Billy was amazing! He made our kids feel at ease and they had so much fun. They talked nonstop about how much fun they had on the boat catching sharks! Made some incredible memories!!! Will definitely do it again.

We've taken a fishing trip with Dr. Bee for two years in a row now! It's become a tradition during our week on St. Simon!
The fishing is fantastic—there are lots of small sharks, rays, fish, and more! My six-year-old son was thrilled with every catch, waiting to see what each one was, touching sharks, and helping to throw them back in the water.
Dr. Bee makes fishing easy; he handles everything with the bait and hook removal, so even folks new to fishing will have a great time! He is also a great host, entertaining us with jokes and interesting facts about fish. The three hours passed by so quickly that we wished we could stay out longer! He also finds calm waters, making the boat ride pleasant for everyone. Throughout the week, he stayed in touch as we watched the weather (which luckily worked out well) and his priority is ensuring the kids have an enjoyable experience.
I cannot recommend him highly enough!! (Although he can't get too popular: he better still have enough availability for another trip with my family next summer)!

If you are ever in the area of St Simons Island you don’t want to miss going on a charter boat trip with Captain Billy …fishing or ecotour! He is the best at finding the fish for you to catch, entertaining you with knowledgeable information about the area and just plain fun (funny) to be around. You won’t be disappointed!!!

I suggest booking your trip as soon as you decide on the dates for your vacation. I take "first come first fish" so booking as early as possible is the best bet. Usually a couple of weeks ahead is enough time but often trips are booked months ahead to be certain the desired date is secured.

How many people can you take at one time ? Do infants count ?

I can accommodate 6 passengers per my U.S. Coast Guard License. Yes, infants do count as a passenger.
