We came here for the first time for the rose and oysters special. We arrived at 12:30 and sat inside because it was very windy. Our servers were all nice and we got to choose between 2 different rose's for what we wanted our bottle to be. We chose the Rainbow. They then asked if we wanted any other food on the menu and we got the guac and chips and the crab tostada. Both were great. The oysters never came and eventually one of the servers came back over to ask if we had gotten it yet and we hadn't. (This was over an hour later.) But once we said no they brought them out and they were great. The vineyard is nice and big. Roomy bathroom. Lots of nice gifts in their shop. Overall despite the oysters taking a while to come out, everyone was nice and we enjoyed it. We were in no rush. We will be back!

We arrived with 2 guests and our dog. We started to unpack a water dish and a bag of dog biscuits, and the hostess quickly approached to warn us that no outside food was permitted. Luckily, dog biscuits didn't count. We enjoyed a bottle of wine in the sunshine. We had stopped by once before on a windy day in March when there was no one else in the tasting room. My husband and our dog were waiting in the car and I asked if they could come inside to warm up. We were told that we had to sit outdoors in the blustery wind. I bought a bottle of wine and left.

My wife and I did the private blending experience and it was worth every penny.
1. We had 1-on-1 time with a blending instructor for 90+ straight minutes in a private room upstairs.
2. We learned a LOT about how blending works and how the 4 bases work with each other.
3. We had a lot of wine during the lesson. You *need* to constantly sample the various bases and blends in order to make a blend you are proud of. You will also need to hang out a bit after this session to drive safely.
4. The accompanying charcuterie was super tasty.
5. The stories about the winery origins are quite interesting.
6. The blended wines they made for us after we figured out our formulas are included in the price.
7. It seems like a lot per person, but it is also worth it.
8. Bonus: We bought a bottle of their White Merlot, and it is a odd but refreshing wine.

My first time at RGNY, I use to come here when Martha Clara was open. RGNY have more white wine than Reds, that’s ok, I like either it but I like even options. The place still the same, same location, same look. I recommend this place if you are more a white wine person.

I think that the only way that RGNY can correct all the problems that we encountered is by closing down, get their act together, ask clients for their constructive criticism, and reopen when that is accomplished. Our experience was a definite "D" and not an "F" only because of the lovely setting. RGNY staff made everything difficult for us from making the reservation, to checking in, to being seated, to ordering wine and food, to that being delivered to the right table, to not explaining the wine we were tasting, to the types of cheese, etc. in our order, to having to get up and hunt down a staff member to obtain water, utensils, napkins, etc. We have lived on the North Fork for over a decade and visited most of the vineyards and breweries located here and although all of our experiences have not been perfect this one was just plain POOR. Our rather large group agreed that this would be our first and last visit.

This replaced Martha Clara a few years ago- and gone is the second bar and the draft beer...but the wine is very good and looks like they are still figuring out how to lay out the gift shop. The back room is a bit different now also, not as open as it was- but the grounds are lovely off the back

I'm leaving a poor review for RGNY not because we didn't care much for their wine, but because the experience at RGNY did the exact opposite of what a winery should do: it raised our blood pressure. We needed to change the time of our reservation, so we called the winery and... there was no answer. Again and again, no answer. That should have been a signal to us to just go elsewhere. We got there and... no staff were visible, anywhere. Nor were there signs telling us where to go. It was like something out of the Twilight Zone! Someone could have stolen half the bottles of wine from their gift shop and no one would have noticed. We eventually discovered where to go to get seated and were told that the "blending experience" advertised on their website was not available because we didn't book it in advance through their website, but there was no *way* to specifically book it in advance; the website directed us to OpenTable and didn't give us the option. So we did one of their standard tastings. The staff told us nothing about the wines and the wines themselves were below average for the North Fork. It was impossible to get the attention of anyone when we wanted to settle our check and leave. Because there was no staff in the gift shop, it was extremely frustrating to buy a bottle of the one wine we tasted that we *did* like. The whole way, it felt like we were imposing on their staff. Literally no other winery on the North Fork is like this. We went on a Thursday afternoon; I also work in a service industry and it's entirely possible we hit a day where half their staff called out unexpectedly and the staff that was left were struggling to get through. That said, with more than 30 other amazing wineries on the North Fork to choose from, we're not going to chance RGNY again.

There were 7 of us in our party touring the area wineries. At RGNY, we asked for a table near the vineyards. A very pretty setting. We were told that the staff felt it was too far and they didn’t want to walk that far. And not because they were too busy! Needless to say we did not stay. We went down the road to the Rose Hill winery and had an amazing time. Spent over $200. I wouldn’t waste your time at RGNY!

This was a favorite vineyard of the ones we visited on Long Island. The wines were great and the service was as well. If you go the dip that is made there is not to be missed, we would have bought it to go if they sold it!
