What a lovely place to visit full of cheese, honey and gin. We had a lovely tasting of both cheese and gins and wandered around souvenirs while a wonderful icecream was consumed. Something for everyone (except maybe lactose intolerant tee totallers who don’t like honey). Would visit again and recommend to everyone. Staff were very welcoming and very proud of their produce.

Stumbled across this place while taking a back route from the Margaret River to Perth. We had never heard of Harvey Cheese. There was a large retail showroom plus a window through to where they actually made the cheese which we found very interesting.
Lady asked if we wanted a cheese tasting and provided same, very quickly running through what was available. She seemed somewhat disinterested but has probably done the tasting hundreds of times before. We liked several of the cheeses that we tasted though unfortunately were flying back to Sydney the next day so didn't buy any.
There were nine flavours of gelato available at $5-50 for one scoop and $8-50 for two.
Plus a range of other foodstuffs and collectables.

The Long Black tasted like warm brown water and the hot chocolate was also Luke warm with little flavour, although the vanilla think shake was creamy, sweet with real ice cream and fresh local milk.

We stopped for coffee and to check the extensive retail offering for local products. This is dairy country.
The Ha Ve cheese manufacturing operation is in the same building as the coffee & cake shop. So the cheese was local but precious little else. The icecream was from Midland. Some of the chocolates we can buy in our local Woolworths. We found this very disappointing.

We were in Harvey and love cheese so seemed like a no brainer.
We arrived, it didn't look that special from the outside but it's all about the cheese we thought.
We entered and there was a man dressed in white and a woman moving in and out from the back.
They didn't look at us and didn't say a word.
The woman even came out into the shop so I asked sorry are you shut? All she said was five.
It was three in the afternoon so that wasn't the problem.
Nothing else was said though they both were in and out of the shop so we left without tasting or buying anything.
Very Rude no customer service.

We stopped here for coffee and cake, which was a $9 special. We were told that we could have any coffee we wanted, but when we asked for a mocha coffee, the price suddenly increased because of the addition of hot chocolate, which we felt was a bit misleading.
The coffee was good, and cakes were quite tasty, although the serving sizes were on the small side. Still, it was reasonable value for the price.
There's indoor and outdoor seating, and it was a pleasant enough place, but nothing outstanding.

We were advised to stop there as we did not know it was even there
You can taste locally made cheese and buy cakes coffee and gifts
We are so glad we stopped and bought some goodies including coconut rough which is yumm

Visited the Harvey Cheese cafe today and what a surprise. Cheeses to taste, with a friendly explanation of each. There is a great selection of cheeses to buy. Plus there is more. Various other food items for sale, we purchased some Jerky as well. After enjoying a cuppa and huge Florentine biscuit, l ioved looking around the shop. Jams, relishes, nuts, chocolates and honey. Plus there’s more. Craft items as well. I’d be very surprised if you couldn’t find that some-thing special for Mum for Mother’s Day. We had a delightful time there. Oh I forgot to mention ice-creams.
