A really fascinating tour of the caves with a really knowledgeable guide. Amazing to hear the history and learn about how the crystals have formed.
Don’t bother with Yanchep Park - we were really unimpressed. No information boards about cultural history or aboriginal history, no water taps, mess everywhere.

It's really well worth a visit, and is just about an hour north of Perth. We loved the guided tour (about 45 minutes). We found the tour very informative, and our tour guide was very interactive. It's at easy walk through the chambers, steps and boardwalk. You will need to bend down in parts of the walk, and there are about 30 steep steps down (and up) to get to the Cave. We saw amazing stalactites, stalagmites, shawls and helictites. You do need to pre purchase your ticket as the tour numbers are capped. Parking on site is free.

Spent a wonderful hour at Crystal Cave with Nelle as your guide. The whole tour was very interesting, beautiful and thoroughly enjoyable. We've been to a number of cave tours and this one rated very good,. The price was reasonable, and the guide was absolutely exceptional.
There are some stairs and some low ceilings but it is not a difficult walk.

A great trip, Tania our guide knew so much about the caves and its history, she was also told funny stories and really made this adventure fun, there are rock formations and stairs to negotiate so some fitness is required but worth it, so glad we visited this super spot

Tours are $16 for adults and $8 for kids. You can book at the tourist centre just a minutes drive from the cave or online. At the cave itself, there is toilets and a sheltered area to sit and wait and also a decent size carpark. The tour itself was fantastic. The guide we had was awesome, his name was Rob. This is a tour for all ages, but note, if you have mobility issues or wheelchair, there is no access sadly. (And there is several areas where you have to bend over under the rocks inside the cave. So is a little tricky for those who are tall.) It is a steep 35 steps (approx) down to the cave, and a door is closed behind you, but you can ask to leave at anytime. The tour takes you along a boardwalk and there is a few more stairs, but not many. And you can take photos with a flash, as it is pretty dark in there, but can't touch anything of course. The guide has a torch and also lends one to someone in the group to use to help everyone. Each tour group has about 15 people. As you first enter, you can feel the temp is a bit cooler, but further in it gets fairly muggy. The guide leads you through the whole cave (which isn't a very big journey, but takes 45 mins with stops and info about each area) Is a one way journey and then at the end you came out where you began, and you climb the 35 stairs and exit. Is well worth going if you are in Yanchep looking around. And just an FYI, where the visitors centre is, there is bbq's and huge grassed areas with lots of tables for picnics etc..

The cave is Located in the Yanchep National Park. It cost $16 for an adult for a 45 minute tour. The tour was very detailed and contains a lot of useful information about the history of the cave and the area. I would definitely recommend visiting the cave if you’re in the park.

This cool little cave tour in Yanchep National Park is excellent value for money and highly informative to boot.
It’s billed as “Perth’s only metropolitan tourist cave..an underground wonderland full of natural cave decorations such as stalactites, stalagmites, helictites, flowstones, columns and shawls”.
You need to buy tickets in advance at the kiosk inside the park and they will give you directions to the tour starting point. I saw a group of kangaroos not far from the entrance so see if you can spot a few.

Did the tour for $16, you can purchase either at the tourist centre or book online. Wonderful guided tour that went for 45 mins. Super cool inside, a fantastic way to escape the heat at ground level. Saw some senior citizens in my tour so anyone can do it. Tour guide was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
