This was the venue for a Jackson Browne concert. The seating was very close and I had difficulty watching the concert due to the head of the person sitting in front of me. It is a beautiful venue and the size of the Palace was perfect for a concert. All of the employees were very kind and helpful.

I experienced the absolute worst customer service in my life this evening at The Palace Theater. After 4 rescheduled dates and 2 years, I was finally able to go to the Ron White show. I had purchased these tickets through Stub Hub and apparently so had other people! When it became apparent these seats had been sold at least twice, I was escorted to the ticket office to “rectify “ the situation.
Well The Palace and I have very different interpretations of the word rectify; their offer to help was to suggest they could sell me additional tickets at full price even though it was less than 10 minutes to showtime and it was not a sell out crowd.
So even though I clearly had valid tickets (they were scanned successfully at the door), and were viewed in my personal email, The Palace simply made the decision to alienate a loyal customer for the sake of making a few more dollars.
The worst part was they apparently expected this problem, and decided “the hell with the customer “! The first usher explained the situation to said “yeah, we expected this to happen “ The gentleman at the box office was condescending, arrogant, and could care less about the customer. Had this “customer service rep” had even attempted to show an once of compassion or interest in trying to work out a fair solution, I would have bought some tickets. Instead the seats went unoccupied, and they lost a customer for life.
So, after waiting 2 years, I’m out over $225 and didn’t get to see the show. The Palace just lost a customer that attends several shows a year with his wife. I will never spend another dime there. What a joke!!

You should arrive early just to look at the stainglass and carved wood- much like the theaters in Europe, it is beautiful! We sat in the Louge and had great views and good acoustics. There are so many exits that it was easy to leave.
Many steps and not all isles have hand rails and I didn't see an elevator.
There were many different spots for refreshements so no long lines. On the left side, where it looks much more modern there is a display from the original manager's door where he had all of the celebrities sign from Red Skelleton to Julie Andrews- great history!

This is an ornate and well maintained theater. Seats are comfortable. Please note that there is no elevator, so the building is not ADA compliant. If you can find street parking, the meter rates are reasonable. Meters are enforcable Mon-Sat until 10pm. There is additional parking in the LeVeque garage. I suggest you pay for your parking before the performance instead of after, to save on exiting time.

The palace theater is an intimate venue with good acoustics. The lobby is a bit small and so if people are waiting for the bar it gets quite crowded. But it’s a pleasant enough place to catch a performance.

Great place to see a show. Small enough that there are no bad seats. Decent spacing between rows so if you are tall there is enough room so that you don’t have your knees in someone’s back.

If one has a seat in the main floor first row (A), is the stage low enough that one will not be killing their neck looking up the whole time?
Rédigé le 13 janvier 2019
We just saw a show in December and We were in the second row seats no problems at all in seeing the show the stage was directly in front of us I was so comfortable so get the good seats you shouldn’t have any issues with being comfortable the stage is low enough!
A great venue!

Went there last night and had Mezzanine tickets. Staff said there was no elevator and there was a long flight of steps, though there was a handrail.

Balcony B, row T, are the seats bad or good? Just purchased these tickets.

6'4" linebacker with XL legs. Which seats would be best or should we just skip altogether?
Rédigé le 17 septembre 2016
If legs are the only problem, i would recommend first rows at either on the Mezzanine or in the Balcony. I am 6'05 and chose row AA and had no problems with my legs, but of course, a got a lot more fat than a LN, so I struggled to sit without hitting the seat arms.... And I can guarantee you will have a nice view from the stage
Enjoy

I got front row seats, near center, for my wife and her friend to see Culture Club. I really didn't want seats this close, but ticket master kept giving me these same seats on every search! Are these seats to close to the stage, like your looking straight up all the time! I still have time to resell if these are bad seats!
Rédigé le 24 juillet 2016
You would be close, but there is an orchestra pit, so depending on whether they cover it or not, you may not be as close as it sounds.

Please tell us about parking, i.e. lot nearby? street parking available? various costs associated with parking?
Thank you.
