Trying the ciders was fun. I think it was a crab apple that tasted like a good champagne - which was a big surprise. We picked up some cherries & peaches. Both fruits were so very good. There's a lot in the shop to check out & the customer service was wonderful. Stop by if you are in the area!

Fresh fruit, cider to sample, flowers to walk through, and goats to feed. Something for everyone. Didn't care for all the cider flavors, but it was interesting doing a tasting.

Draper Girls is one of our favorites on the Fruit Loop. They have added on a beautiful space for picking out fruit and have some great ciders to take home with you. A must-stop on the Fruit Loop.

Owners were so friendly, informative, and wonderful. We did a tasting and enjoyed them all. The owners were clearly excited about each of their ciders.

The tasting was well done, starting dry and ending sweet. I ended up liking the one that I was most surprised about. We stayed a bit longer and drank a ten ounce glass of our favorite. We even left with a growler of the lavender for tomorrow.

The goats were super friendly and they have the BEST view of mount hood. Fully snow capped, which made for a great backdrop to enjoy our cider.

I wish they bottled their ciders, but I understand why they do not. Amazing place. You should 100% stop here and support this family business.

We recently came around the Mt. Hood loop and stopped at Draper's because we heard about their famous cider. Our first impression was the outside, big beautiful building but no curb-appeal, it was so weedy any blooming flowers were lost in the grass and it seemed neglected and/or abandoned, we wondered why, maybe COVID fatigue. We enjoyed the cider our favorite was the lavender, we were hoping to find lavender there to pick as well but we were told they don't grow it plus it doesn't bloom elsewhere in the area until Julyish. The back patio has a delightful ambiance except for neglected gardens. Very curious place indeed. We'll be back for the lavender cider.

Draper Girls used to be one of our go-to farm stands on the Fruit Loop, but now we make quick annual stops there only for the unpasteurized apple cider and the sweet cherry cider. (It’s the only place you can get them.)

The main reason that it is no longer one of our favorites is because of their bad attitude. It seems no matter who you speak to there, they are curt and ungrateful. We’ve been going there for 15 years, but we’ve never felt as if they care whether we come back again or not. In addition to that, they ring you up quickly—not out of a sense of great customer service but because they don’t care to engage in any conversation (not exactly helpful to the tourist or lost traveler). I suspect it’s also because they want to get your debit/credit card run before you can spot the little notice on the counter that informs you there is a 3.5% additional charge for using your card. (Again, not exactly traveler-friendly.)

If they ever stop offering the unpasteurized cider, we’ll have no reason to go there.

This was our last stop on the Fruit Loop before heading to Mt. Hood. The location does need some updating as it is basically a very large garage and they provide port-o-potties for bathrooms - definitely not the same type of proprietary as the others in the loop. However, the cider is really good and the view from the picnic area is almost perfect. They are not as busy as other stops on the loop so it was very peaceful just taking in the view while sipping cider. They will also bottle up the cider to go, which was nice considering we're from out of state. They had a nice selection of fruit, and probably overpriced, but that's what I would expect from a small business in a tourist area.

We live in the area and have visited all the fruit stands over the years. This one is ok. Not great. They have fresh fruit but their selection is limited compared to others. Their prices I think are among the highest in the valley. I think this is due to their great location right on highway #35. Service is good. Very knowledgeable. If you are in a hurry driving through the valley and you want some fresh fruit they will take care of your needs. If you are hungry for lamb you can find it here too.

The Fruit Loop feels a million miles away from Portland, so beautiful! This farm had a colorful garden setting, cute animals and a view of Mt. Hood. Produce and cider are sold in a small structure open to the outside, so it's easy to socially distance. We felt very safe. They offer a variety of fresh cider. Loved all the options, there were a number of flavors and sizes. We tried the pear/apple combination which was a new taste for us. It's not cheap, but prices are comparable to what we spend at apple farms at home in California. We were happy to support a small business in this challenging time. The lady that sold us the cider was really nice also.
