The scenery is amazing and we were lucky with the weather. However we found the route difficult to follow due to a lack of signs and reluctantly turned back after a couple of miles. Disappointing not to be able to complete the circuit. As the walk is well publicised we had thought it would be better marked. Also a few more benches along the way would be nice.

This is a beautiful walk along the coast with spectacular views over the estuary from St John's Hill. It is sign posted and contains information boards with Dylan's poetry. It is an emotional experience to read them in the places they refe to.
We did a circular walk which goes through a farm and follows a very steep path through a wood. We had the pleasure of meeting the farmer who voluntarily maintains the path.

Not sure the website and app etc. are being maintained anymore but the views on the walk are still absolutely stunning and well worth it. It's a little steep but not too challenging, with plenty of beautiful benches to stop at on the way.

We went a long route down a road (watch for cars!) to a farm road that led through a farm area to the Dylan walk (a dirt road used by farmers but fence off from livestock etc.). Then climbed up and into Dylan’s birthday walk and back to the castle. It was a challenging and spectacular 5 mike walk with amazing views! Up and down a lot!

A stout pair of shoes required. To make it a circular walk, be ready to take a steep path through the woodland to your right. To get the full atmosphere, make sure you read all the verses from his poem, posted at various locations along the walk. The views along the Taf estuary are stunning. Enjoy.

Beautiful view, with DT information along the route. Benches along the whole route, some step inclines & steps, so not ideal for people with walking difficulty.

My husband and I completed this walk on a beautiful day whilst staying at Browns. The scenery is spectacular with lovely glimpses of the estuary through the woodland part of the walk. Quite muddy in places and some care needs to be taken but I will definitely walk the walk again. Highly recommended!

A steep but manageable walk even for a slightly older pair.
We didn't go all the way to the top but did most of it.
Wow.

We walked the Birthday Walk as part of the Wales Coast Path. Great views, plenty of benches to rest your weary legs and lots of information boards. We loved Laugharne.

Not sure of the post code but it is in the centre of Laugharne next to the castle. There is a car park where you can easily park.

Yes, it is very easy, over the top by the stone wall and down to the Salt Marsh and too Laugharne via the Dylan Thomas Birthday Walk.
