I honestly can say that I grin in feeling grateful and happy when recalling a visit here. I embarked on this unexpected experience with a dear friend of many decades. We followed the advice of our dear guide Nick, a gifted facilitator, not a traditional museum docent by any means, to experience the surroundings without taking a lot of photos. It brought me back to a childlike curiosity and amazement of being in the present moment.
Every niche and cranny on the exterior as well as the interior explodes with limitless creativity.
There were a series of riddles to answer as well as thought provoking questions providing introspection and a deepening of a connection between my friend and I. A highlight was a visit to an intimate space where we were invited to write a note to a deceased one. Think of Day of the Dead altars on steroids! We were also treated to a spontaneous performance with drumming and belly dancing transitioning to us all dancing joyfully together. A soulful lunch of salad, pilaf, butternut squash soup, pumpkin pie and lemonade was deliciously offered by artists.
This was an unique engaging experience to be with an open mind and heart to experience wonder and delight!

It was such a joy to meet you and your charismatic friend during the experience. You have an unusually bright and kind presence as reflected in your words here. The Haunted Doll House show was the most fun we have had in ages. It is a delightful combination of scary with a bit of humor mixed in, and the museum provides an unpredictable and quirky backdrop for the horrors to unfold. We never knew what to expect next, and we would definitely like to go again.

So glad that you enjoyed our creepiest experience to date!. Definitely come back as we produce new versions of the show. I too get surprised, behind-the-scenes, opening drawers, and doors full of haunted dolls. Grateful to you for taking the time to share your thoughts .

My spouse and I went to the outdoor garden lunch and then indoor tour, since we were coming from out of town. Very unique very enjoyable —definitely worth the trip. Got a chance to meet and talk to many of the other artists and it was very cool to do so!

It was amazing. An interactive museum is hard to explain. When we left we felt as if we had just left therapy. It was soul searching.

We can ever explain it either! But It was an absolute joy to meet you and your vibrant friends. Hope you come back to one of our more theatrical seasonal experiences running through the end of the year.

It was fun and the cast was varry pleasant fun and in character I went with youth and the kids wanted to come back next time. I will be coming back but for the adult tour.

Unique and interesting house. Impressive commitment to living one's art. However, it turned out in practice to be terribly kitschy. Beware you will be expected to read groaner poems and comment on what you like best in each room. 15 minutes in we were wishing it was a self guided tour so we could see the rooms and be out; 90 minutes went by quite slowly. And it's $80 per person. Do not recommend.

It was so much fun and visually sumptuous. My wife and I really enjoyed the immersive quality. Nick was a wonderful guide, and very congenial. I expected the surreal environment, but I did not expect to learn so much as well. Nice bonus. Our imaginations hadn't been that stimulated in a long time, and when we exited back out into the "real" world it took some adjusting. It was a great experience.

I loved how it started off with a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony and ended with a magical Tea Leaf Reading. The house is amazing and the tea was incredible!

Grew up in the Bay Area, and this is one of the best and most unique things we’ve ever done in San Francisco. Nick was a terrific guide, and the tour was more of an experience with lots of fun ways to connect with each other - my wife, adult daughter, and me. Highly recommended

We came to the front door and were greeted by a gentleman in a fabulous costume who told us a bit about the history of the museum. He was sweet and sincere and we were very happy to have him accompany us throughout the experience. Highlights were the art, the textiles, and getting to meet the owner of the museum Gregangelo himself. We highly recommend this quintessential old school San Francisco experience.

I would go on their website, I don't know if they have tours the week of Dec 8. But, you could email them and see what is available, you can find their website by googling (for some reason URL's are not allowed by tripadvisor in the answer) there is a web-based contact form on their website
