It's been a long time but I believe that when we last visited the Kennedy Space Center, the building had not yet been constructed and the Saturn V was out in the open.
The only way to the Apollo/Saturn V Center is by bus and there was quite a long line. However, it is the best thing there, so we recommend that the very first thing you should on your visit is to go and get into that line.
The star of the show is obviously the Saturn V rocket. For those of us old enough to be glued to the TV watching the original moon landing, there is nothing better than this.

The grounds, artifacts, history and experience is simply amazing. The bus ride to the grounds was a quick 5-minutes as no public traffic is allowed.
Took a hint from a frequent visitor and went immediately to the museum first upon opening and entered through the secondary entrance. For 10-15 minutes the hall holding the Saturn V rocket was able to be enjoyed without anyone from the public. The sheer size and ability to take some pictures without the public was a pleasant experience.
There is an outdoor area to go on top of the stands to view launch pads in the area.

Reliving the phases of the last minutes before the launch of Apollo 11 in the view of the launch control center ... and immediately after being in the presence of the gigantic Saturn V ... unique emotions and sensations that I recommend everyone to experience at the Kennedy Space Center, Florida

This attraction pays homage to the people and machines that made the improbable possible. One can get a real experience of amazement under the gigantic Saturn V, the largest rocket ever flown. One relives the wonder and excitement of the Apollo era by looking at the exhibits. This unique attraction celebrates the unprecedented achievement of putting humans on the Moon and the awe felt in that moment by all mankind. One needs to take the bus tour to experience this unique attraction at KSC. The last bus to experience this attraction was at 2:30 PM. So would very highly recommend to queue up for the bus tour, during the earlier part of the day of one’s visit at KSC.

History buffs and/or space enthusiasts will love this! This is part of the bus tour at Kennedy Space Center. You will see a dramatic multimedia presentation in the actual firing room used in the Apollo missions which gives you a real "You Are There" feeling, then proceed into a exhibit hall which features an actual Saturn V rocket! The hall is full of cool exhibits about the Apollo program, the must-see being the Apollo Treasures Gallery. Set aside plenty of time for this!

アポロ計画が途中で中止されたため、打ち上げ予定だったアポロ号の実物が展示されている。作りかけなので配線が所々見えるのが、生々しい。アメリカの実力を肌で感じられる。

The rockets that carried our astronauts were big. Mind-bogglingly big. This is one of the three places in the country where you can see one that has been preserved and restored up close, and trust me, imagination doesn't do it justice.
You'll also get to see part of the Launch Control Center equipment that was used in the Apollo program in a presentation that re-enacts the Apollo 8 launch. It's fantastic, especially because this was the equipment that was used.
You can also see a real moon rock returned by Apollo astronauts.
And, on days where there is a launch, this is one of the best viewing points on the entire Kennedy Space Center property. It's 3.5 miles from pad LC-39A, where SpaceX launches Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy rockets, and just a little bit further away is Pad LC-39B where you can see Artemis rockets if they are on the launch pad.
All in all, the Saturn V Center is a highlight of a tour of Kennedy Space Center, and a place where you should plan to spend some time to see all there is to see there.

This center is a bus ride away from the visitors center. As you enter the grounds, pass by the rocket park and follow the path around to the right and then straight ahead. The busses run from opening until about 2 pm. You enter a line and then get a chance to get your picture taken and board the bus. The busses are very nicely covered with space-themed pictures. The ride to the center is about 15 minutes and has a running commentary about the Space Center, the Vehicle Assembly Building, and Saturn V center. Once you arrive, you have a choice to go into the movie and firing center portion or walk to the right and walk through the Apollo Park tribute and enter the building through the side door. The building has a wonderful full-size Saturn V, a moon landing theater experience on its side in the center of the building. There is a memorial to fallen astronauts, a lunar landing display, an apollo craft, a cafe, and several interactive computer touch display screens. There is an exit disguised as a gift shop that leads you out to the park and the bus ride back. The bus ride back has a running video about the wildlife of the center and more details about the Space Center. Overall, this is a wonderful experience from the bus rides to the actual Saturn V experience. I highly recommend visiting this while you are at the Visitor’s Center.
