I've liked this trail very much. Not super difficult, but also requiring "good shoes".
The first distance goes along the river, so walking there is very enjoyable.
Nice views from the rocks. The rocks by itself are very nice too.
I was surprised to see up there a lot of moose droppings. To me it's very high ground for moose, but if there is something to eat....why not.
I didn't make the loop trail. My wife has stayed in 3/4th of trail, so I had to come back for her. We saw a lot of nice flowers.
It was about 2 hours of exercise.
I recommend it.

Phenomenal views and lots of places for our young adult boys to climb rocks. The hike was fairly strenuous due to the elevation gain, but it was completely worth it!!

We started on the left side of the trail which was supposed to be less strenuous, but I don't know if that was true. It may have been less steep but it was the longer way up there. Great views. Very steep going down so maybe we did it right. Also, don't follow the pink ribbons. My companion thought it was a shortcut going back down but we had to backtrack because we were not prepared to bushwhack. Thankfully, we had mosquito spray. Good hike.

We went on a guided hike of this trail and were not disappointed by the 360 degree views or the beautiful weather!! It is a moderate hike with some steep inclines early on, but after the second tors it didn't seem that drastic, but my adrenaline from the beautiful Alaskan landscape may have been distracting me. I would probably have done this hike just my boyfriend and I had I known we wouldn't be seeing any dangerous animals because then we could have gone straight to the hot springs and ice museum, but we had some memorable stories from our guided tour that we wouldn't have had otherwise. Definitely a must do hike while visiting Fairbanks!

If you don’t want to deal with a trail full of tourists, I definitely recommend going early in the day and during the week.

The trail was well marked with some nice off shoots for getting sweep valley views. It’s a pretty rough trek up, better for people at least moderately in shape or who can take it slow. I saw plenty of birds and red squirrels. Sadly, no bear or moose.

This was a great hike that followed the flat river for a while then ascended to various rock formations with great views. Since it was totally deep snow, we followed a set of foot prints, which we later learned was only part of the path. We saw no one.

My wife and I enjoyed hiking Angel Rock. The trail is well-maintained. We didn't see any wildlife on the trail, but did see several moose on Chena Pump Road en route to the trail from Fairbanks. We had a breezy day while hiking and thus the mosquitoes were not bad.

This hike was very pretty in the fall. The bottom mile is a nice walk the other 2 miles is a bit harder. It was still hot when we went and you deff need to bring water. The trail was not marked very well past the mile, you can follow the trail but have no idea if your still in the trail. The sign at the trail head made it sound like it was a clearly marked. It is also $5 for day use, you can either fill out the envelope and drop in the box or they have a credit card reader, just dont forget to put your ticket in your window to avoid a fine. There was a lot of other people on the trail some were friendly some not so much. Make sure you come prepared with good shoes and respect the wildlife.

The Angel Rocks Trail loop is a nice hiking trail if you're in Fairbanks. The 3.5 mile loop is not too strenuous with great views overlooking the area on a clear day. Can be buggy so pack some repellent.
