I did everything with the same driver. I just met a taxi driver and asked for the price to visit Bondla wildlife sanctuary the next day. From then on I did everything with him and I would pay for each tour I would do with him. I didn't think it would be necessary to do these group city tours. But you can also try those ones, especially if you're staying in an hotel. I've been told that they have leaflets advertising lots of things to do in Goa. But honestly, once you're there, you'll find lots of things to do.

You have to be more specific on where in Goa will you be? To give an idea, Goa airport to the best beaches is a 3 hours drive! Goa is more known for its beautiful beaches and cheap liquor than anything else but they are far apart. If the ship docks in the capital city Panjim (Panaji), which sounds the more obvious, you basically have two options: Option 1: In Old Goa you can see many churches and monuments that are really worthwhile. It is however about an hour's drive from the harbor area and city center. You can use the red hop-on-hop-off bus (it passes the port every hour) to get there and it is rather cheap. They will also hand you all the information on things to see in Old Goa (brochures and information leaflets) on the bus. Once there you can walk from one church to the other and there is a small market there as well. This will however take up your entire day. Once finished you hop on the bus and travel back to the port again. Option 2: Walk a few minutes to the Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception or ask any taxi to take you there, and from there walk down the street (markets) and do some shopping and experience the culture. A little behind the church there is Venite restaurant where you should have lunch. This should also keep you busy the entire day but with regard to other things in Panjim there is really not much more to see or experience in one day. Enjoy!

Hi actually I don't know.we r living here.Its better you book online hotel which having breakfast included.The will arrange taxi.Or you will get North Goa n south Goa trip buses.If you are non vegetarian you will get good food outside'.No bargain here.Buy cashew nuts.Taxis are little high prices.Hotel fidalgo is better for family.

There is no special dress code for Goa. Normal beach wear on the beaches and modest dressing at religious places as in any other location.

Hi Now it all depends what your friends like You have the following choices : Beaches - All over North and South Goa Churches and Temples Some of the Best Churches and Temples are in Goa Old Goa is a must visit place - The Christian Saint St Francis Xavier is placed her for centuries and undisputed must visit destination for all tourist The Mangeshi temple at Ponda is perhaps one of the oldest Temple and visited by all Spice and Botanical Garden - that is if you can have the luxury of several hours The River Cruises in the Night at Panjim Casinos also at Panjim and the Panjim belt Food - Seafood and I mean prepared the local way is simply yummy - I won't suggest names of restaurants coz that may be a biased view If Vegetarian - stick to exclusive veg restaurants coz you may be disappointed elsewhere Vasco is a very crowded city - Mormugao harbor is next door - you can see the entire harbor on your drive from Vasco to Mormugao There are Markets in every city - Margao And Mapuca are the best markets where you can actually spend half a day just window shopping On Fridays is Mapuca Market day - you are bound to step on someones foot several times Hope your friends enjoy themselves

Calangute or candolim beach are best place to stay and enjoy water sports u can hire 1 day tour package for visitinf south and north goa best place to see in south goa is church mangeshi temple and have a ferry ride in evening

Hi, 7 days is a good enough time for Goa and you can see a lot and relax too. I'd suggest starting from South Goa. You can spend 2 quiet days at Agonda beach which is ranked in top ten beaches of Asia and is absolutely serene. From there you can go on to Panjim which is a good two day trip to explore the local food and culture of Goa. Old Goa is also very close to Panjim and is a day trip of few hours. The last three days you can stay in Mandrem which is one of the best beaches in North Goa since most other beaches are very crowded and not that clean. Hope that helps :)

Hi, its actually off season in September in Goa... But this is the itme when you will find the nature at its most pristine, with light showers in morning and evening, lush greenery, cloudy and breezy weather to ride around on a bike or open jeep, choppy waves, good for a surf board run The place will be less crowded, some popular establishments even close out or re-model thier joints for the prime season starting in October but that doesnt mean there will be no nightlife.. the best food and dine places will be open and finding a seat will be easier, prices will be cheaper to boot... So will the taxi and scooter hire charges be less... Best part, hotels will be at half price and will throw in better amenities as addons Pubs like Curlies, Titos, hype etc will be up and running through the wee hours of night.. If you are local, you will take heart to know even foreign visitors will be swarming the lanes of goa in this time. I have been to goa in virtually all seasons and i feel August-October is the best time to be in Goa. Nature at its best, people at their friendliest and laziest, food at its yummiest.
