We did a wine tasting at this place. Unfortunately, we felt rushed and not welcome. The tasting costs $24 for six wines. The pours were so small that it was hard to taste the wines! Several times we were asked if we wanted to order food. As we didn’t want to eat here, we were made to feel like we were not welcome and the whole experience was very rushed. This place is not a good value for money and service is borderline arrogant!

My husband and I enjoyed the long lunch at the end of August. The waitresses were lovely and very attentive. The wines were perfectly matched and the food was devine (no exageration)! The tempo between the meals was never rushed or too slow. The portion sizes were excellent. We sat by the window inside as it was a little cool at the end of Winter, but stunning lighting across the vines and hills. We are definitely going back, its our new favourite place!

Called in for a tasting - the usual tasting room was closed so we stayed in the restaurant. Had three wines 2019 Pinot Noir (ok) 2020 Pint Noir(very nice) and Syrah 2019 (ok). Had a chat as she explained the way wine was made here. Very interesting the one that ferments in the paddock - but our favourite was definitely the 2020 Pinot.

What an incredible ‘long lunch’ we had today! The food was exquisite, flavours outstanding, wine matching en pointé and Rose, our waitress was exceptional! Talking to Chef Cam who delivered our dessert was a love,y finish to our whole experience! Although we are from Hawkes Bay,I’d certainly make the the #1 port of call next time we are down this way! Thank you so much team Greystone!

we visited the winery for lunch on saturday. absolutely stunning, staff very friendly, food was amazing.. having lived all over the world this was my favourite lunch. Food was to die for.. we will be back ! It was our first visit . well done !

People there couldn't have been nicer, clearly busy but went out of their way to accommodate us. Enjoyed the tasting and platter was excellent, all quality. Really lovely place, will be back.

Had the Long Lunch here on Saturday. Lovely flavours and a nice mix of dishes, paired with matching wines. Easily able to accommodate dietary needs such as GF. Good attentive service and explanations of the dishes. Would have preferred slightly larger servings of the dishes.

The food was beautifully presented and was a gourmet experience.
However we felt like stopping for a takeaway on the way home as the Long lunch menu was tasty but did nothing to satisfy a good appetite.

We went for a wine tasting and the famous long lunch.
From the moment we arrived it was magical. I have special dietary needs and was specifically catered for. Our 5 courses were creative and delicious served with perfectly matched wines.
Our hosts were a wealth of knowledge, warm and welcoming.
The setting and scenery were photo perfect and knowing the wines are organic and grown in a biodiverse environment made it even better.
Would highly recommend a visit.
