Went to guard shack and was told need to go to Savoy Hotel few blocks away to get day pass. Luckily didn’t get out of taxi yet so drove over and paid the 350 pesos and came back . Walk is short to beach only 1 min. Not very nice entrance kinda dirt road a weeds growing.
Looks like recent improvements to lounge area 2 levels. Not really sand but fine dirt . Snack shop offering drinks and few food items you can order and they bring from hotel . Only 10 lounge chairs and some shade from trees and only few umbrellas.
Luckily got a longe chair and pulled it under a tree. I did enjoy a few hours there and water refreshing although some rocks in water do not easy to walk.
Bathrooms run down and some construction at back of beach area. Overall had a decent time and would maybe come back.

Newtown Beach is reserved for guests who rent an apartment or a hotel room at Mactan Newtown Boulevard. If you are not staying on site, admission is charged and expensive for a modest family.
The imported white sand beach is not very wide but sufficient when it is not too crowded. Unfortunately there are a lot of stones and it's difficult to walk without sandals to go swimming in the sea. There are also a lot of big stones in the water and you can get hurt easily if you walk barefoot in the sea. We also regretted that there are neither enough sun loungers to lie on, nor umbrellas to protect against sunburn. No catering on site either.

Newtown Beach in Mactan Lapu-Lapu is a small beach reserved for tourists who stay in a condominium, rent an apartment or have a reservation in a hotel located in Newtown. This beach is the property of the Savoy Hotel Newtown, it is currently under renovation. The work of the new development is inconvenient since visitors have access to only part of the beach. What we regretted was firstly the lack of seats to lie down and relax, but also the lack of trees for shade when it was too hot. Showers and toilets are run down, old, poorly maintained and currently dirty.

This was such a well planned beach. Picnic huts a bonus for eating. Food , toilets, showers drinks available if wanting to purchase or take along your own food. Entry fee to the beach but all okay it’s kept clean and an enjoyable day.

Came here for the island hopping. It was fun, it was great. The boat captain, Kuya George was really nice and accommodating. He ensured that we got what we came for. His staff were also nice too. And the staff who helped us book the island hopping, Joy was really nice too. She attended to our needs and was so friendly... You need more staff like her 👌
Not to mention the manager I forgot his name (my bad) . He was also really nice as well. He gave us tips and recommendation for our next trip around Mactan.

В сравнении со всем, что есть на Себу, вполне нормальный пляж.
Вход 200 песо в выходные/ 150 песо будни.
Чистый, адекватная чистая вода.
Лучшее, что тут есть за эти деньги.
На пляже есть кафе с неплохой пиццей и напитками.

Small beach surface however good for activities. Island Buzz Philippines are located there that rentout kayaks, stand up paddle and bigiw boats.
Beach is 4km from Olango and facing East so to see sunset, need to paddle 200 meteres out to see.
Angasil port with public boats ot Olango is located next door.
There is tons of Chinese working in nearby callcenter towers.
Entry is pricey 150 peso but compared to other resorts in LapuLapu is fairly cheap.
Convenience store and bar present on site as well as parking and showers.
Recommend to purchase maps from Philippines Travel Company (and Maribago Tours ) to get familiar with Mactan Island (LApuLLapu City)
2021 is 500th anniversary of Battle of Mactan, expected huge crowds.
Beach is 4km from Olango and facing East so to see sunset, need to paddle 200 meteres out to see.

アイランドホッピングに行ったり、ホテルのプライベートビーチでのんびりしたりする時間がなかったので、このビーチに行ってみました。
200ペソで入れて、日陰もたくさんあって、海を見ながらビールも飲めたので、しっかり泳ぐことを目的にしていない私は十分楽しめました。海の水もビーチの砂もキレイでした。
しっかりシャワーを浴びて着替えられる個室があるかはわかりませんが、コインを入れて軽くシャワーを浴びられる場所はありました。
ホテルのフロントで、マクタンニュータウンから歩けると言われましたが、日差しの強い日に歩くには少し遠く、少し迷って道行く現地の人に聞きながらたどり着いたので、歩けないことはありませんが、タクシーで行った方がよかったと思いました。また行ってもいいと思いますが、次はタクシーで行きます。

Very unimpressive beach. Completely over commercialised and not worth a look. Enter and you may as well let them live in your wallet. Don't waste your time or money. Whoever states otherwise has not seen a half decent beach before. Go elsewhere.

I love the beach's white sands. Whether High tide or low tide,... you can still take a swim. The employees are all very accommodating and helpful
