Millions of rupees are donated by Haribhkato every day, but it seems that the management of Shri Sai Temple could be in the wrong hands.

1. There is no special provision for elderly and disabled people, and those with wheelchair access, to have a one-level entry.
2. The queue is not managed properly. Buying a ticket for Rs 500/- is a waste of time, as non-payers also seem to join the same queue without waiting for too long.
3. Instead, introduce a numbering system and call for the first 500 every 20 minutes. When the first lot leaves, call for another five hundred and so on.
4. The parking space is not nearby, meaning the elderly cannot be dropped off at the doorsteps.
5. The little shop owners are the biggest cheaters, selling items that cannot be taken inside the temple. It is a big rip-off.
6. Shoes are left anywhere and are hard to find upon return.
7. It’s the biggest mismanagement in Shirdi by the Sai Temple Committee. The whole committee needs to be sacked and reappointed with people of expertise who know how to develop tourism.
8. Water fountains should be placed around the area for people to drink free water.
9. The floor is often too hot to walk on. It should be carpeted.

Well, I am a Sai Bhakta, but seeing this kind of activity makes me sad.

“Please do not consider my views as negative feedback. It would be nice to see some kind of system developed to improve the queue and make life easier for the elderly and disabled. Donated money must be used to develop the site and for charities, with names published on the site indicating where the money is spent.”

Shri Saibaba Santhan Temple is the main temple complex where the Samadhi mandir is situated. Along with the temple, lendi bagh and dixit wada museums are also located in the temple complex. To have a darshan of Baba peacefully and in less time, an online VIP darshan ticket is very helpful. Hardly any visitor is in this queue, and the distance is also short. Unlike the general queue, where you have to unnecessarily walk a long distance in blank rows, If a smaller crowd is there, you can spend the maximum time in front of Baba.

SCAM ALERT !
Beware of scammers near shirdi temple.
Once you reached the temple do not talk to any of the person who tell you to come with me and said I will take you to the temple for darshan but STOP they will take you to the shop nearby the temple and the shop owner manipulate you through various talk and tell you to take parasad and chunar of baba. Once you said yes they will give the Prasad and chunar and said that this will not go to inside the temple instead you have to take this to your home and he will increase the price of every item by *4times or even *5 times
And this will cost you arround 1000

I have been trapped in this scam and and paid arround 1000 for things that cost me arround 200. So be aware
Always try to enter from the front gate of the temple
Do not enter from anywhere.
Take help from police they will there for assist you
Do not goto any shop nearby everything is available on the temple itself and the prices are fixed and very minimal.

If you want to buy something goto shop after the darshan.
Do not buy anything before darshan from any shop.
Your belongings like
Shoes sandles mobile collected by saibaba temple authority in front of temple and it will cost you only 5 rupees.
After this no charges will be taken by mandir authority.

Online booking is the most convenient. That process is efficient, and does away with any touts etc. However they have made the walking distance to darshan area very, very long compared to earlier. Totally unnecessary and can be made easier for pilgrims. Shirdi police and temple management must do something about the hundreds of touts who bother you on the way. They are a sheer nuisance and spoil your frame of mind as you are contemplating Baba. Shirdi management should take a leaf out of Tirupati's books in this regard. Counter to keep shoes is also very badly managed and one has to walk long distances barefooted in the dust and slush, which is not okay at all. Overall Shirdi has become very crowded and is very commercial with thousands of shops etc. Needs an overhaul and clean up to become a spiritually enriching place. Baba would want it that way I am sure. Om Sai Ram!

Saibaba temple is well connected by train and road . I preferred Vande from Mumbai to Shirdi for the trip. Train is comfortable. Booked darshan and Pooja online before travel. A number of good restaurants are available near the complex

The darshan and peace of mind inside the temple is divine,

Important tips for people visiting for the first time.

1. There are agents who help you to get the hotels, be away from them. They help you get hotel and also help pick you from the hotel for free and drop till the temple and take to their own prasad shops for favor in return to the free service where they misguide you that all the items are essential and they will directly get the blessing on Baba as they have a separate arrangement. they make you buy all sort of items and make a bill around 1000+ Rs plus and take you to a small temple and make you place all the things you purchased and tell you that the same is not allowed in the main temples. They place 7 photos of Sai baba in the offering and inform you that it is of 30 rs later when the activities are completed in the small temple which is not related to Sai baba temple , then they tell that the cost of 7 photos is 210 rs and keep taking the money and all of them work in group of 4-5 youngsters. Stay away from such people.

Solution
1. Kindly book the darshan online and stay in the Sai sanstan where the booking is also online. The mobile app needs to be downloaded at least 24 hours prior to your booking.

2. There are different gates at the temple where you can keep your footwear for free and mobiles at very minimal cost.

3. Prasad or any offerings is not allowed inside hence purchase what every you want after your darshan is completed there are plenty of shops around the gates of the temple where the rates are reasonable.

It is said that we visit Sai Baba temple only if Baba wishes.....It has been 8 years since we last visited.
Shirdi Sai temple is always a favourite and divine place.
When compared to last time,it has become so commercial... right from entering gate 1,2...to offerings to Baba.....neatness is lacking around the gate premises....Even a glimpse of Baba has become difficult due to security,rush...etc..,long wait during Aarathi time...etc..
However, what matters is your trust in Saibaba .....
