The cave is truly unique - only of the Kind in the world - and the crystals almost magical! I do not regret paying the comparatively high-price (7 EUR), even if the tour was rather short (15 mins), and the crystall portion small.

I have visited many caves as a speleologist, but this one is unique! It was discovered by miners, the tour starts in a mine and there is a little mine museum also, with some rusty equipment. But the crystals are interesting. Some of the stalagnites are broken, I think, due to mining. Can't describe, see photos and visit :-) 10 minutes walk there is a viewpoint with beautful scenery, don't miss.

A breathtaking experience.
Apuseni Mountains are crossed by hundreds of caves, but these attractions are mostly undeveloped. An exception is the Crystal cave in Rosia village, Bihor County, unique in Europe due to the geological formations of rare beauty.
The Crystal Cave from Farcu Mine has been discovered in 1987 during the bauxite exploitation within the mining area of Rosia, Bihor. Unfortunately, the cave was vandalized many times until 2012 when it was set up by the Centre for Protected Areas and Sustainable Development Bihor and Rosia City Hall.
This is the only cave in Europe where anyone can closely admire the beauty of the calcite crystals. What made it so spectacular was the variety and size of the crystals, but also the “macaroni” stalactites, reaching up to 1.5 – 2m.
The cave was recently arranged so that, besides the conditions of maximum security, it offers tourists the opportunity to visit an old mine gallery, which showcases a lot of objects that people used to handle underground.
The route that can be visited numbers about 200m of mine gallery and 100m of cave gallery. The touristic route ends with a balcony offering an overview of the speleological reservation.
Thrill-seeking can practice speleology with a licensed guide, if necessary training. And tourists with strong nerves can try a zip line, 270 meters long, passing over a great gulf fixed.

What has started as a mine turned into a cave full of cristals! It is a magical place to visit! The cristals can only live inside the cave! Outside they turn to sand! The cave is still growing, if you are in near, definetly you should visit it!

We liked it very much. It displays both information about mining in the area and presents the Crystals Cave. The guide was very nice and thoughtful. The place itself, outside the cave, is really nice for a picnic – the view is great, you can find a good place to sit, has a new toilet, the tourist information point has also souvenirs and stuff. I do not think you can buy food there though.

The access to the cave is by car. This is a wonderful cave with a small museum inside (a former mine), and a geode-type cave with calcite crystals. There is a guide who offers plenty of interesting information. I highly recommend visiting this cave!

It's one of the four show caves in Bihor county.
The route that can be visited includes about 200m of former mine gallery and 100m of cave gallery. The point of attraction is considered not the dimension of the cave but the beauty and the uniqueness of the limestone structures.

Place is ok, you have a parking place, and i belive they also speak english.
We enterd the cave without the permission (they sayed in the begining last entry is already in) and the lady turn the lights off on us :)) it was a "nice experience" we deserve it.But after that they decided to go with us as well. (Thank you!)
What we don't like : - open until 5PM sunday on august, september is not really fair.
- we whated to go with the zip line (tiroliana) but the person in charge was not available although he was there when we arrived.

A must visit attraction in Rosia area. The tour takes around 30 minutes, the cave was recently opened. The area surrounding the cave is very nice.
