We stayed a week at the lodge (house )it was nice but is in need of some TLC possibly a 4star when it originally opened but not any more ,it’s spacious and has beautiful views when we arrived there was no welcome pack there was no gas bbq as advertised and the bbq that was there was rusty old one , there was no out side light so once it was dark we couldn’t sit out as it was pitch black , the garden wasn’t dog friendly it’s not fenced off and the large gates at the front of the property are left open on to a busy road there was no sound system as advertised there was no plug or washing up bowl in the sink it said there was a dryer there wasn’t there was not even a washing line we had to go an d buy one and fix it up our self , the hot tub is very tired and needs Replacing really and the shed that it’s in isn’t nice and also has no Lights so we had to buy lamps to be able to use it on an evening , we had problems with the electric cutting off apparently due to a fault on the cooker , which was sorted but still continues to go off the down stairs shower is very grubby , we had no heating and no instructions as to how to even use it luckily it wasn’t cold but could have done with it in to take the chill off on an evening it’s a shame as this could be a perfect place to stay it needs an update and some small things could make it perfect , We did enjoy our stay but it definitely needs improving!…

I booked to stay at Glynogwr Log Cabins for a Bridal Shower weekend away. We were very pleased with the standard of the cabins, plenty of room, beautiful surroundings and easy to find! Would definitely recommend!

We are just returning from a lovely weekend away. Our time in the lodge was everything we needed. So much to see around had a lovely time in Llantrisant just down the roads lots of arty shops. The lodge us clean and spacious with all facilities available. If you want a break in the countryside with access to the coast and the city thiswould be a great choice. David is very helpful and knowledgeable makes a great host top marks all round

J'ai de la famille dans le coin, donc j'y suis allé deux fois. La première fois avec mon petit ami, parents, les chambres sont spacieuses, il y avait donc beaucoup de place pour nous détendre. La deuxième fois que je suis allée à cet hôtel avec mes enfants à ma mère pour un week-end et c'était très agréable d'être à la campagne et échappez-vous de l'activité de la ville. Les animaux de compagnie ne sont très agréables, le paysage est magnifique, tout dans cet hôtel est absolument incroyable. Je ne peux pas faire assez, chaque fois que je visite en famille J'aurais choisi de séjourner dans cet hôtel. Je ne saurai assez insister pour recommander cet hôtel. Il y a un centre commercial à proximité et aussi les randonnées dans la campagne. On peut même se rendre à la plage ou faire de Cardiff pour la journée !…Plus

Nous avons passé un très agréable à cet log cabins ou chalets en glynogwr. Nous ne savions pas encore qu'elle aussi bien et on a trouvé que c'était un véritable délice et de trouver un hôtel près de la plage et à la City. Il y a des tas de choses à faire, de la soirée à Cardiff ou une promenade dans la campagne. On a adoré les fleurs sauvages qui entourent l'hôtel et les coqs qui se baladent en toute liberté. L'un dans l'autre, c'était un séjour très reposant. Super lits entièrement équipée avec un lave-vaisselle alors il faut souligner. Les vues sur la montagne sont superbes et David est un hôte excellent très serviable et connaît tout ce qu'il faut demander. Fortement recommandé Nous avons hâte d'y retourner.Plus
