Nous avions choisi cet hôtel pour passer 3 nuits à Los Angeles pour son design, la serre remplie de plantes où l’on prend son petit déjeuner ou dîner au restaurant le Commissary, la vue sur les collines d’Hollywood et une piscine. L’hôtel s’est révélé conforme à nos attentes.

My mum and I are visiting for the first time and I'm wondering if its easy to get around by bus or train and go sightseeing?
Yup. There's a train station right across the street from the hotel; from there it connects to stations that serve other train lines. I was in LA for a week recently and only used public transportation - it is great, you can pretty much get anywhere on a bus and train. It definitely takes longer than a car but you're also saving a lot of money. The weekly pass for bus+train is $25 USD. For comparison, a one time Uber ride from LAX to this hotel is more than $30. LOL.

I am staying at the line in October, how easy is it to see all the sights , and can the hotel book a tour for me and my wife
Email the hotel and see what their front desk can do. It's not really a touristy area, its a pretty hip place and great for relaxing round the pool and eating etc. The subway is across the street that can get you around and of course there are taxis too, or parking if you are driving. I'm sure the hotel will have some tips for you.

The hotel is in a good, central location and Uber / Lyft and Taxis are fairly reasonable to get to key sights (we used those). If you want to venture out of the city you may want a car, but keep in mind parking is expensive. The staff at front desk of hotel are extremely helpful and I wouldn't hesitate to contact them about arranging or helping to arrange tours.

I am not sure if The Line has this amenity, but if you call the hotel and talk to the staff they will be super helpful.
