We just returned from spending 3 night at the Kingfisher Lodge and we could not have had a better time/stay. Jenny and Brock's hospitality is over the top. The lodge is very comfortable and super clean. All of the meals were incredible. Added bonus-Fishing the Big Horn with great guides provided by the Lodge. Can't wait to go again next year!
Amazing hospitality and desire for you to have a good time. Facilities are rustic but super comfortable and clean.. The food is a religious experience. The guides that KFI hired for us were exceptional. Some hard fishing days on some really crappy weather days. Sure beat a day at the office! The weather really sucked with gale force winds and unseasonal freezing cold... that was no fault of the host and hostess...Brock and Jenny! Cannot rave quite enough...but you will not be disappointed!
We spent June 10-15 at the Kingfisher lodge with the Cabela's Signature Club group. There were 12 guests there to fish from all over the USA, a Cabela's Club host and a Cabela's Club photography there for these great 5 days. The entire lodge accommodations were awesome. The rooms were great with comfortable beds. The lodge has a nice deck to hand out in the evening with the other guests over drinks and appetizers. Matt & Keri the owners, the cook staff and Mike who organized the guides were all outstanding. All meals were great and would compare to anything you will find anywhere in the fanciest restaurants I will guarantee you. We loved our guide and will request him next year as we have booked for June 2018 and are thinking about a September date then too for just dry fly fishing. Even though water levels and flows were at an all time high, we caught a lot of fish each day due to our guides skills and experience.…
Stayed here for our sixth trip with 5 friends. This lodge is located at the 3 mile put-in below the start of the Bighorn River. The lodge is run by a couple, Matt and Keri, a delightful outdoorsy duo who are the second owners. The place has 6 two bedded rooms and a Farmhouse that sleeps four. The decor and rooms are fishing- not spartan but comfortable. The food is outstanding and plentiful. Fishing guides can be organized by the lodge and ours have uniformly great. The biggest problem with the Bighorn is that once you go there , every other place is a step down.
