This is a very small campground behind the motel (same owner). Sites are on or near the river. Tight maneuvering for a large rig towing a vehicle. We had to dodge several vehicles that were partially parked in the road. Leaving, we had to dodge another vehicle, bushes and trees, up a hill, and make a sharp left to exit. Not sure about the previous reviews mention of gravel sites. All we saw was grass and mud. Not the owner’s fault, but it rained and the interior roads and sites were muddy messes. We left huge tire grooves in our site. We were scared to death we were going to sink in the middle of the night or get stuck trying to leave. And this would happen just after we got new tires! Our site was 30 amp - not sure if there is 50 amp. The sites are close together, and there is nothing between you and the next site except an occasional tree. The owner was gone when we arrived and showed up at our door at 8:30 pm to get payment (cash or check). That is also when we received the WII FII code! It was very slow and timed out constantly. We had 4g on Verizon so we used our hotspots. There are no OTA stations and Directv did not work due to trees. You need a box for the cable which isn’t worth it for one night especially by the time we would have received it. The park is near the highway, and there was a lot of truck activity early on but it quieted down at night. There are trains nearby which we heard during the day. There are also pretty church bells that ring every hour. Even though it was mid-June, we were able to open the windows so we didn’t need to run the air conditioners. We won’t return.

Called ahead to new owner. Took reservation and had room ready for early check in. Room was clean, a little out dated, but new owner has a plan to update. Price is fair. Campground attached and he is updating that also. Will stay there on future trips. Owner is very responsive. Good for quick or lengthy stay. Pet friendly, also has mini fridge and microwave. Safe to stay here.

in progress but this new owner is great. He has goals and knows what needs to be done. We enjoyed our stay there Basic pull through with good hook ups. Easy in and out. Not a lot to do in the area but make sure you visit Bob's diner.

They have motel rooms as well as a campground. The rooms are great for the price and have an excellent view of the river. They're well kept and clean. The owner is a very pleasant gentleman. I highly recommend this place. It deserves more publicity than it gets.

This is a great place to camp. We always stop over on our N-S travels and most times end up staying much longer than planned. The owner, Dave, is great to work with. He wants you to be comfortable and enjoy being there. Not too many rules, just use common sense. Beautiful sites right beside the Susquehanna River and a very short walk over the bridge to town. Not much in the town, but the food at Jerry's Inn is fantastic! A little ways to shopping/drug stores/etc, but so relaxing to stay here. Always clean and neat and easy in and out. Haven't used the bathhouse as we are self contained, but we do see someone cleaning it daily. Looks of motel in front may discourage some people, but just one drive to the campground in the back and you will fall in love with being here. Hope not too many people discover this place though so we still have a place to spend some time.
