We stayed at Bullberry Inn for 3 nights with our 2 kids (12 and 14 yo) the first week of April and it was great. We stayed in a second floor room (detached from the main house). There was a queen bed on one side and 2 single beds on the other side of the room with a bathroom in between. There was also a small table and chairs , dresser , and night stands. It was plenty of space for our family. The Inn is on a farm with goats, cows, horses , and chickens. The baby goats were ADORABLE! There are chairs and a wood burning fire pit in the front that we enjoyed in the late afternoon/ evenings after visiting Bryce Canyon (short drive). There are a couple good restaurants a mile or two down the street in Tropic. The best part of the stay were the wonderful hosts Joe and Emily. They were very kind and welcoming. They gave us great suggestions for things to see and do during our time there- Willis Creek Slot Canyon was suggested and it was our favorite hike in the area. The breakfasts were all really yummy - Dutch pancakes, pecan waffles, and veggie omelets each accompanied with either bacon or sausage, and yogurt with fresh berries. I rely heavily on reviews when deciding where to stay on vacation so when we have such a great experience somewhere I want to share with others ! …
On our trip to Bryce, my husband booked this lovely inn located in Tropic, Utah. It was a great visit. Emily and Joe were wonderful owners and hosts. Their children were equally as kind and we felt like a small extension of their family. Joe was an amazing cook and we had delicious breakfast each morning during our stay. The inn was very relaxing, with comfortable chairs out back to enjoy the picturesque landscape of their backyard. We had great conversation, laughs and endless coffee. We were so glad we stayed here, it was a great joy to meet and get acquainted with a great family as well as having a warm and welcoming place to stay. Thank you both so much! Xoxo, Erin and David
We really enjoyed our stay at this B&B! The location was perfect for exploring nearby national parks, the grounds were spacious and the views all around the property were outstanding. The wrap-around porch was a perfect touch to enjoy our mornings and evenings. Hosts Emily and Joe whipped up a great country breakfast and shared their company with guests each morning. They were accommodating and had extensive local knowledge to share. We were grateful for their incredible hospitality.
The Bullberry Inn in Tropic Utah is conveniently located to the entrance of Bryce national Park… about 15 minutes away from the entrance. We were greeted warmly by Emily and her husband Joe. The room we got was quite large with an en-suite bathroom with a tub and nice toiletries... shampoo, body gel, lotion, etc. They have charging stations for your devices, and the beds and bedding were super comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious including German pancakes, juice, coffee yogurt with fresh fruit, bacon or sausage. There are several nearby restaurants. The B&B IS the family home, and as such, you can hear young children from some of the inside rooms... wasn’t a big deal, but it is worth mentioning. Three of the five rooms have their own outside entrances. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others. …
Great to get out of the commercial hotel racket. The town of Tropic has some interesting history. The hosts, Joe and Emily we so very helpful and gave us all of the local flavor. You instantly feel part of the family. Being on a working ranch with chickens and goats was a blast.
