This solitary and abandoned house has become a landmark around the north shore of Boston. It’s isolation capturing the imagination of beach-goers to Plum Island for years. Built originally in 1925, with no fresh water or energy, life there must have been tough. These days it’s a favorite of local artists, and also of local birds of prey. Both can be found roaming the grounds looking for nourishment, either spiritual or physical. (Bengoeshereandthere, nov. 2018)
