Comfortable stay in Lymington
Lovely two bedroom property near all the amenities. Well furnished and decorated with a very comfortable double bed. Some little gripes: Tap was constantly dripping in the kitchen, no oven gloves and only one tea towel. There was no outside lighting on the steps to the house which was a bit dangerous and using a torch would be difficult if you were carrying two bags. Needed to be careful in the bathroom as the window was not frosted glass so you could be seen from the properties behind. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant stay. There was plenty of hot water, heating and towels. Would definitely return.

Another comfortable stay
This is the second time we have stayed here. As the first time it was very comfortable , clean and easy accessible to all the amenities. Being on the high street with a private parking space was great. Ella was very good at answering any questions I had all the way through the booking, I had one point to pick on was only one and a half toilet rolls, for 4 for a week, but that would be down to the cleaners I suppose. I also missed the prosecco we got last time?

Perfect location with secure parking
Right in the centre of Lymington with easy access to all the shops and restaurants. Buses to other parts right outside the door, with the harbour and boats only a 10-15 minute walk away.

For our first trip visiting Lymington from Australia we could not have asked for a better place to stay. The apartment is everything we could want and more. In the heart of town we have had easy access walking around and close to our family in Hordle. The owners have been a pleasure to deal with and would highly reccomend Solent House for your next stay.

Fantastic coastal retreat
We enjoyed a fabulous week at this lovely property. Great communication with the owner. A bottle of prosecco was awaiting our arrival with was a lovely surprise. The home was exceptionally clean and very well equipped, everything we needed. The decor is gorgeous and lovely lamps made a very cosy and comfortable feel.
The location is ideal for exploring Hampshire/ Dorset and we had some great meals out within walking distance and also further afield. Lovely harbour and fantastic beaches nearby. We enjoyed the Saturday market which had lovely local produce. Great to have a secure parking at the property. Highly recommend.

Both peaceful and lively
We loved staying right on the main street in Lymington. We were never bothered by noise, yet were right in the middle of all the shops and pubs. This lovely cottage provided a great shower room and comfortable beds. We like to cook and eat in when we travel, and this kitchen worked fine for that. We would have loved solid internet access and a little bit more complete utensils, cookware, dinnerware, etc. But we made it work just fine. Access and parking are really easy, and the directions and communication before, during, and after our stay made it just about perfect.

We were delighted to welcome you to Lymington and so pleased that you had such a good visit ... fortunately the BT Internet engineer sorted the internet issue in the street and we are back on stream with Superfast Broadband again. Hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip!

Well located and comfortable apartment
Excellently equipped apartment- everything works well, none of the usual blunt kitchen knives cast-off from the owners place. Tastefully decorated and recently done. Great location for the town and restaurants etc, but still easy to get the car out to go to other places- and nice secure parking place.
Only one downside preventing 5 stars- the front bedroom is a bit noisy with traffic in the morning; if you like a lie-in then you might want to look elsewhere.

Amazing
Amazing holiday. Lymington is a beautiful place and the surrounding area of the New Forest has plenty to offer. Our apartment was lovely and I would certainly recommend it. The décor was tasteful, it was extremely clean and tidy, it had everything you need and some special little touches. The views from the roof terrace were spectacular.

Best holiday in England for years
Property was superbly located on the High Street just right to watch the world go by but also central to the restaurants, cafes and pubs, harbour and marinas. Loads to see, New Forest attractions, local beaches, also nearby Southampton and Bournemouth. The flat was lovely, clean and modern with everything you could possibly need. Loved the super king bed, was so comfy. Large sun terrace had a lot of use whilst we were there as the weather couldn’t have been better. Another nice touch was the bottle of Prosecco on arrival. No worries too about parking thanks to the secure parking space at the flat. In all I have to say this holiday was one of the best ever for my husband and I. We look forward to returning to Solent House in the future.

Fantastic location, fantastic place to stay
The accommodation is ideally located on the High Street with a parking space at the back. It is beautifully presented with all mod cons. A lovely selection of refreshments/ condiments is provided, you know them little things that you miss on holiday but you can’t be bothered to pack. I didn’t need to contact Ella during our stay but felt assured that I could if I had any issues. The only down side are the steps to access the property, it is definitely not for people with mobility issues. Lymington itself is excellently located for access to the New Forest National Park, Southampton, Christchurch and other areas. Although I didn’t use public transport, there seemed to be a lot of buses on the High Street if required. I would wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone considering visiting this area.
