Me gusta tanto, que he regresado
He estado en Plumita Pacífica unas 5 veces, para mí es el lugar ideal para una o dos personas, se nota el cariño que hay en cada detalle y está totalmente equipado (no tiene TV, eso me parece excelente).
Es muy especial pues está justo frente a la playa y los atardeceres ahí son bellos. También se puede ir caminando a Playa Blanca. Lo recomiendo totalmente.

Our own piece of paradise!
Located right on the beach, we loved being able to always see or hear the surf. There are lots of great restaurants and a little market within walking distance, so a car isn't necessary. The sunsets are just lovely, and Gary has a bench to sit on by the beach to enjoy the stars afterwards. It's a great walking beach and there's a turtle sanctuary closeby. The host is delightful, informative and very welcoming,

A little piece of paradise
I cannot rate this high enough.
A self-contained flat as close to the beach as is legally possible in Costa Rica. The apartment had all the standard basic amenities, kitchen, bathroom with a shower, double-bed, air-conditioning; clean and cosy. Perfect for a couple. Right in front is a beautiful sand beach the stretches far into the distance.
It is remote making the place idyllic but a grocery store and restaurants are available within a a couple of minute's drive.
Sunsets from right outside the flat are unparalleled.
The host, Gary, is very welcoming and had amazing stories to tell.
You will not regret a stay in this location.

I love it
Esta fue la segunda vez que visité Plumita Pacífica y obviamente si fui por segunda vez es porque la primera quedé encantada. Es un lugar adecuado para una familia pequeña y está a pocos pasos de la playa. Eso lo convierte en un lugar ideal. El lugar cuenta con lo necesario para pasarla bien. Y lo mejor, excelentes atardeceres durante todo el año.
Fijo voy a volver!

Wonderful location and lovely owners!
We stayed at Gary's place for a month and had a wonderful time. The proximity of the beach can't be beat. The apartment is well equipped and it's easy to fix some of your own meals. Gary is super responsive and friendly as well as his beautiful wife Iliana. It's a very comfortable place that really lets you get the pura vida vibe! All around a happy atmosphere with a very comfortable apartment. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet peaceful vacation.

Wonderful
There is no place like it. Its off the beaten path. Places to eat around there are great. The beach is right outside your door. Gary is a very friendly person. We will be going back. Very private. They have a very nice dog and kitty that likes to visit.

Paradise retreat for escaping the winter!
Plumita Pacifica was the perfect getaway from the cold U.S. in January! The oceanfront views, sounds and tranquility are beyond words! Gary & his family were the best hosts and we enjoyed our stay,,,, wish it could have been longer! Ocean views from the apartment and the sound of the waves 24 hours a day were awesome! Nothing could be better! We enjoyed helping release "Lora" baby turtles on our last day! Bucket list no doubt! We will go back.....soon we hope! Thanks Gary!

Just a perfect little jewel right at the beach with great sunsets!
Everything was just perfect! For us the best place to be! Right at the beach - no people, nice restaurants around,small supermarkets as well! The apartment was very pretty and more than enough space for 2 people. Gary the owner is super nice and helpful! We would have loved to stay longer!If you are looking for a tranquil beautiful place right at the beach with the best sunsets just a few meters away - this is it!

If you want to be on the beach away from crowds, this is it
Playa Junquillal is the rare balance of being away from the resort/tourist town hustle but still quite accessible. With protected land on both sides and a wide stretch of public beach a hundred feet from your door, this is a special spot. Our apartment had everything we needed to make a stay on the beach just what we were looking for. Good local restaurants within walking distance or cooking your own meals to enjoy on the beach are both excellent options. Gary is a fantastic host with a wide knowledge of the area and local establishments. Book this place and he will help you figure out what to do once you get here. We spent the majority of our 6 days ... doing nothing which is a pretty good way to go at a place this beautiful.

There is nothing else you need.....
I have been in this area many years ago. You can still wonder on the deserted beaches without running into a crowd. Plumita Pacifica owned by Gary Davis is just like owning a home in Paradise. Gary went way and beyond in order to make our trip a pleasant stay. The kitchen fullly equiped although he recommonded some nice places to out. The food was extremely nice and Gary had not say a word too many. Everything is on a walking distance but once at the Plumita Pacifica you feel like you're alone in the world ehhh I mean in Paradise........

The apartments are completely furnished one bedroom one bath right down to the toothpicks and right on one of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica! A/C, full kitchen, private bedroom, queen bed, nice big bath, you could move in and live there with nothing more than your personal effects.
Reservations & Rates:
Thank you for choosing Plumita Pacifica. The rates for your stay in paradise are based on two people, staying two nights minimum (three nights recommended), and $25 for each additional guest (over 2 years old) per night.
$50 surcharge for one-night stays with prior permission; waived if only single nights are available.
A deposit of 50% of your total anticipated stay is required to reserve an apartment.
The balance is due upon arrival. We cannot hold a reservation without a deposit.
High Season Rates effective 12/1/2012 (December 1, 2012 through November 30, 2013)
1-7 nights, $75 per night
8-30 nights, $70 per night
31- 59 nights, $65 per night
60- 90 nights, $55 per night
90 or more nights $45 per night
Low Season Rates effective 12/1/2012 (September 1, 2013 through October 31, 2013)
1-7 nights, $65 per night
