Beautiful home and great stay
Beautiful home, incredibly comfortable beds, clean and very well equipped with everything you could need.
Pip was a very responsive host and I would love to stay again in the future.

Great cosy, well equipped Beach House with fantastic views to the beach and sea
6 adults and 2 children stayed at the Beach House for Xmas this year. We were greeted with lovely xmas decorations including a well decorated xmas tree. The Beach House is well equipped, great location with fantastic views to the beach and sea, we were lucky to see some lovely winter skies. A great place for children, and adults too, as you are right on the beach. We all had a great time but it went too quick.

Great location on the beach
Eight friends stayed at The Beach House from Friday to Sunday and we had a lovely weekend. We were slightly worried prior that the house would be too small for eight adults or that the bunk beds would be uncomfortable, but no, it really was lovely and cosy. The living space was ideal; we all fitted comfortably in the lounge area and the extendable dining table was ideal. The owner was very accommodating, giving us access earlier and a later check-out. The house had everything you needed.
A great location on the beach and we definitely got lucky with the weather in October! I managed a dip in the sea every day (well, you’ve got to make the most of having the sea in your back garden haven’t you!). Brilliant. Eastbourne was ten/fifteen minutes away so we all treated ourselves to afternoon tea at The Grand.
A big thank you from all of us. I have a funny feeling I’ll be back but perhaps next time I’ll be treating the family!

Amazing location..
This property truly is in an amazing location, with spectacular views directly on to the beach. The weather was perfect!!
The house was comfortable and reasonably equipped, however it felt very dated and there was a bit of a small when you first walked in... maybe damp?

Thank you for your review. We are glad that you enjoyed 'the amazing location and spectacular views'. I am sorry to hear that you felt that 'the house was dated and you experienced a slight smell' due to The Beach House being shut up and not aired as a home that is lived in day in day out. Keeping the balance for a holiday home right on the beach being aired and heated is something that we are constantly looking into. We have recently installed vents to seek to improve this situation.

Beautiful house right on the beach!!
Had such an amazing time at Pip’s beach house! The house is set right on the beach so you have an amazing view even sat in the living room. The house was extremely clean and well equipped even had kayaks which we took out to sea. Amazing value for money as the place spaciously sleeps 8! Will definitely book again for next year!!

An amazing place, hidden in paradise
A wonderful stay at one of the nicest places in the world. You can’t often find a beach house, with sea views where you walk out and you’re immediately on the beach. The beach is not too busy due to most of the people visiting it being people from the other beach houses. The house was clean, well stocked and had a lovely, homely atmosphere. I can’t wait for the next time I can visit!

Family weekend at the Beach House
We stayed at The Beach House for a long weekend in June 2019. It is the most charming and beautiful house. It so well kept, everything you could need and such comfy beds! The setting is perfect. We loved waking up and heading straight out onto the beach and then in the evenings enjoying views out to the sparkling sea!! We are a family of three, two adults and a two year old, so we didn’t use all the rooms in the house, there is plenty of space for a bigger family gathering!! My little one loved playing down on the beach, when the tide goes out the stretch of sand and the shallow water is perfect for a toddler to run around in! When the tide was high, we played in the garden and collected shells and pebbles on the beach.
We made lunches, breakfasts and one dinner at the house, the kitchen is equipped with all the appliances / utensils etc. that you could need and then we ordered from a local takeaway on the Saturday, which was excellent and quick service. We sat on the picnic bench and swing chair in the garden for most meals, taking in the views. There is a folder in the house with details of local pubs, other takeaways and places to visit not to far away. We were tempted to take our little one to a small zoo close by, but we just found we had everything we needed for her at the house / beach!
The kiosk shop just a couple of minutes walk away is ideal for anything you need...ice creams! And there is a play park for little ones a short walk away too.
Overall an idyllic setting and a totally peaceful family weekend. We will definitely be back!

Thank you for letting me stay at your lovely Beach House right on the beach. I had a great time it was so good to relax. I would definitely recommend it as there’s so much to do or just spend time relaxing. Thank you so much for a lovely holiday.

Just lovey
