Lovely Apartment
This is a smart, well kept apartment in the lovely village of Santa Luzia close to the town of Tavira. Everything was immaculate with very comfortable beds and a high standard of cleanliness from their cleaner Mrs Eduardo who gave us the keys and showed us round. The owners Anabela and Paulo were very attentive with good communication throughout.
There are lots of places to eat and drink very close by with a surprisingly well stocked supermarket just off the church square near the tapas bar which I would also recommend, lovely service!
There is an Aldi and Lidl that both have good parking in Tavira and a great Shopping complex over the Bridge in Tavira should you break a glass that needs replacing 😀 This also has a great supermarket inside.

What a find!
We loved our stay in Santa Luzia. The apartment was lovely! It was so well equipped with all those little kitchen things that are normally missing from a rented property. It was spotless and so clean that I wanted to take the cleaner home with me! We felt so comfortable. It was a refreshing change to go self catering and have a clean, fresh apartment. Santa Luzia and the surrounding area is fabulous to explore. Restaurants are all lovely and reasonably priced. Fantastic beaches....really didn't want to leave this beautiful place. Thank you to Paulo and Anabela for maintaining their apartment to a high standard. We'll be back! Sarah and Jez

Very comfortable. Has everything we need.
We are a five minute walk to the waterfront where there are lots of little fishing boats and Portuguese restaurants facing the water. Happily, there are no tacky signs for 'Full English breskasts' or soccer games! There is a long sandy beach close by and we are within cycling distance of Tavira.

A home from home does not do it Justice
We are just over half way of our three week stay.Let me say without contradiction this self catering apartment is the best that we have ever stayed in anywhere on holidays.The quality of the furnishings and the attention to detail of the small items that are too numerous to mention is superb.It is amazing when you book a once a week clean and bed and towel change it is adequate if you are careful.The cleaning here is second to none.The outdoor pool,i think may be heated,but all the sunbeds were broken when we arrived,some have been replaced since and it is so peaceful around the pool.Sunbeds are i believe the responsibility of pool management.
All communications with the owners are faultless and if we return to the area it will be our first port of call.

Village paisible
Appartement excellent, propre et décorer avec goût, mobiliers récents et literie confortable.
Les propriétaires sont sympathiques et généreux avec leurs locataires, ils prennent régulièrement des nouvelles de leurs locataires par messagerie pour savoir si tout se passe bien, ils mettent à disposition des locataires les produits de toilettes (gel douche, shampoing, savon pour les mains) ainsi que les produits d'entretiens et la lessive.
C'est la première fois que mon compagnon et moi avons eu un cadeau de bienvenue et nous l'avons apprécié à sa juste valeur.
Le village est tout mignon, paisible et calme.
La plage se trouve environ à 20 min à pied de l'appartement.
Vous apprécierez lors de votre ballade à pied vers le chemin de la plage le manège des petits crabes, ça grésille de partout.
Nous n'avons pas utiliser la piscine extérieur car cette année le mois de mai n'était pas très chaud par contre la piscine intérieur nous l'avons grandement apprécié avec l'eau chauffé à 27 - 28 degrés c'était excellent, en plus il n'y avait jamais personne.
Nous remercions infiniment M. Paulo et son épouse Anabel pour leur générosité.

Great.
The weather was certainly not what we expected, lots of rainy and cool days. However, we took advantage to relax in the apartment when we could not go out, relaxing and reading our books.
The apartment is very comfortable and extremely well kitted out. Restaurants are nearby but as I had difficulty walking we hired a car and often ate out in Tavira, a very nice old town.
Unless you speak or read Portuguese the TV is very limited but next time we go we will take some old favourite DVDs and CDs for rainy days. The food, whether eaten in restaurants or bought to cook/use at the apartment is excellent. We combined the two. We were unable to use the very nice pool because of the poor weather we experienced but in warmer times it would be good.
Well done Paulo and Anabela. It lived up to our expectations and you were very attentive to our needs.

Splendid accomodation in an ideal location.
A well situated apartment in a friendly fishing village close to Tavira. The apartment is beautifully decorated and well maintained with every piece of equipment a guest would require for a very comfortable stay. Suffice to say this was our third visit to this accomodation and we will definitely return soon. Plenty of good restaurants locally and a splendid walkway/ cycle path from Santa Luzia to the beach. A second beach can be easily reached using the local ferry service.

Stylish apartment on eastern algarve
Paulo and Anabel were excellent at communicating and keeping in touch before, during and after our rental period. Travelling as a couple, we enjoyed our 9 day break at this apartment, especially the comfortable bed and furnishings. As the weather became warmer we appreciated the A/C keeping us cool whilst indoors. We used the shady balcony with lovely furniture and built in BBQ almost every afternoon and evening after our return from the beaches on Ria Formosa, all within a good walk or short car journey away. Not being swimming pool people we never used this facility but would say it looked very good.
Santa Luzia is a fishing village on the coastal lagoon with lots of small shops, cafes, bars and restaurants within walking distance from the apartment. There are more extensive commercial outlets in Tavira, 2.5k away.
There are only 7 Portuguese tv channels available which was my only small criticism of this excellent vacation property.

lovely apartment in good location
This apartment is located in a quiet area of the fishing village of St. Lucia near Tavira. It is well furnished with everything you will need for a self catering holiday. Some great extra touches-all cleaning materials provided-e..xtra batteries-maps-ferry schedule etc. Very helpful owners who were constantly in touch and a great caretaker in the complex. We had the use of a indoor and outdoor pool which were very quiet. Two lovely beaches nearby and some great local restaurants. We loved our stay here and hope to return

Great apartment but noisy neighbourhood
The apartment had everything, clean, modern, comfortable and secure.
The village of Santa Luzia is great for walking (over the pontoon bridge to the island), seafood (octopus is great) and it's proximity to Tavira.
The downside was that the dogs in the area will bark all day and into the night, but we were out most of the day, it was just an issue in the evening when we got back. This was nothing to do with this apartment as the Portuguese do let their dogs wonder around unattended so it's something you get accustomed to eventually.
The outside pool area is good and they even have an indoor pool which is small but functional and often best left to children.
